Great little place on Central Ave. The service is always friendly and fast and the food is outstanding.

Stopped by. Plates are $9 each sandwiches are about $8. Served in cardboard boxes with cheap plastic silverware. Was mildly disappointed at food prep. Cuban black beans typically have strong acidic undertones (green olives are somewhat common adjuncts - or vinegar is added at the end). Not here - plain black beans piled atop plain white rice. Bears no resemblance... More

We had dinner at Bodega on a Friday night. We came at a good time and grabbed a table street side, and we were served in a reasonable period of time. The staff are genuine and sincere, I ordered the Pollo Asada, which was supposed to be marinated in some sort of coconut concoction, which it seemed like it was... More

Great cuban style food and a welcome to change to other places nearby. The menu has a few staples (cuban sandwich and various chicken entrees) but they often have specials. It is meant to be 'street food' and they serve it in cardboard containers. You sit outside on the tables, in back in a covered patio - or now in... More

Met some friends here who raved about this "hole in the wall" place…yet far from hole in the wall…you place your order out front and sit a quaint picnic tables in back…carefully placed plants make this garden area unique and comfy…the one restroom is clean, well kept and the commercial fixtures suit it so perfectly. Now for the food….EXCELLENT! Best... More

Very small place with mainly outdoor seating. Walk up window to order and then your food is brought to you. Very friendly. Best Cuban Sandwich ever. Sandwich was so large it should have been shared but it was too good to share.

The Bodega was one of the first restaurants/cafes I visited in St. Pete. It's not a typical restaurant, it's more of a walk-up counter located right in the heart of downtown St. Pete with outside sidewalk seating that's really comfortable. They just opened an intimate juice bar next door where you can dine at the counter and have really good... More

Our favorite for Cuban food! Friendly staff, uncomplicated menu with good selection of dishes (incl. vegetarian) and fun seating. Miss going there as have moved back to Europe....

Very friendly..the first thing they did was bring water for our dog. Love eating outside. Good food especially the beans and rice. It has a good location near the ball park.

So, I've only been in Florida for two years, but this place has, by far, the best Cuban sandwich in Pinellas County. And I've had some really good Cuban sandwiches that friends swear are the best. Plus, it's located by Tropicana Field! So much to see in this little part of St Pete. More great restaurants, bars and a great... More
