I expected a fresh food experience, and I almost got that. My Frita burger was flavorful and tasty, but the shoestring potatoes on top were straight out of a can. My husband had the Cuban, which was mediocre. The meat was dry and the thick slices of garlic pickles turned the sandwich too far in a direction I didn't want... More

There's a charm to Bodega that is undeniable: who doesn't want to order one of the tastiest Cuban sandwiches (and pollo asado) in St. Pete from a cute guy with arm tattoos? The homemade frescas are delicious. I cannot WAIT for them to open up into the spot next door so that we don't have to wait in the line... More

Starving for healthy food we were so happy to find Bodega. The sandwich I had was so flavorful almost orgasmic. Service. Was fast and friendly. We ate at the tables out front and even when it rained we kept eating and remained dry. I can not wait to come again.

I've been here twice now and LOVE it. Away from the downtown fancier tourist spots, this little restaurant has charm and authenticity. Being on lively Central Ave, it is a great spot to people watch from the street tables or back garden dining area. It is small. You order and pay at the little shop, then choose where to sit,... This restaurant is a tiny walk-up with sidewalk and outdoor seating. The menu is small, which adds to the charm. Nevertheless, it has everything you'd want on it. I had the pollo mango avocado Cuban sandwich and it was so good that I had the same thing a week later when I returned. My husband had the pulled pork plate... More

Best Cuban food I have ever had in my life! The pollo asado sandwich was great. The secret is in the sauce :). Also, the vegetarian sandwich is to die for. Top it off with a ginger lemon fresca and you cannot go wrong. Good sitting area and awesome service. Love it!

We ate outside at the Bodega this weekend before heading to Green Bench for a show. I had the Cuban. It was very tasty; one of the better I have had (better than Red Mesa Cantina). Husband had burger; he said he was awesome. I agree. The mix of flavors was outstanding. No bland burger. The only downside is the... More

My husband and I walk past this place all the time and it's always busy and there are many happy people sitting outside eating the delicious smelling food! Finally we had pollo asado sandwiches there for lunch yesterday and they were amazing!!!! I can't wait to eat here again and to try other items! The pollo asado is coconut marinated... More

My wife and I were visiting craft breweries in the St Pete region and a bartender told us if we were going to Green Bench Brewing (it is directly across the street, great craft beer by the way) we needed to stop first at Bodega for food. She told us we would LOVE it. She was correct. Bodega has wonderful... More

I truly just stumbled upon this place. I was intrigued by the tiny storefront. It is really a sidewalk cafe with a walk up window. The cuisine is Cuban, no really Cuban, not americanized. The menu is not super fancy but the selection varied from Cuban sandwiches to hot meals. Prices were very reasonable. The staff was super friendly as... More
