Red Mesa begins with a wonderful atmosphere - the outdoor seating area is beautiful, with a small fountain and a lovely garden. Next up are the perfect pitchers of sangria - pitch perfect with a reasonable price. I ordered indvidual tacos - thumbs up for mexican with vegetarian options such as tofu! Having moved from NYC I had given up on finding quality Mexican food. This place was so good that I may go again next weekend. The only negative is..... and a big one... No full bar=no tequila. more

The appetizers were over priced and tiny. I tried to order something and I don't eat beef, I asked for substitions and they don't do that, only because they prepare everything in the morning (which is disgusting). The service wasn't great and the servers aren't friendly. My boyfriend had a taco, it was overpriced and tasted identical to taco bell.... more

This restaurant blends American Southwestern Texmex cuisine and a hint of Cuban. Awesome fresh flavors in everything from the appetizers, to the Mariscos y Pescados (seafood) , to the Carne dishes. Not much on atmosphere but the food is Definitely worth a trip to this restaurant! Service was very good, as well. And what a good value! more

Great food, made fresh. Not your typical mexican fair, but most dishes have a mexican influence. Dishes are unique and very tasty. more

Best mexican restaurant I've ever dined at period. My husband loves their mole sauce; it is complex and flavorful. I like their tacos and enchiladas. Love their tamales. Great service, friendly and knowledgelable. more

Our group went there for lunch. The parking was a mess. Tables too small. They want to get there money's worth from every table. The Latin/Mexican food was typical. They had some other non-latin generic food that was adequate. Very pricy. They charge for chips. One person in our party wanted more basamic vinegar for her very oilly salad .... more

On a recent trip to St. Petersburg my husband and I tried the Red Mesa Restaurant. It is a very attractive space with friendly and attentive wait staff.
