Good for brunch

Met friends for brunch here on Sunday & we really enjoyed the meal. I had the shrimp and grits which were very creamy with an unusual sauce. My husband enjoyed his eggs benedict but said it was good but not outstanding. I think it is better to order items that have a more Mexican flare. We had... read more

What I would call upscale Northwestern TexMex food. Dishes prepared with mole sauce and verde sauces were excellent. Just the right amount of spice without too much heat. A full service bar that included draft beers and pitchers of Sangria. Great service and good atmosphere. Many repeat customers. I have never been there when I haven't seen someone I knew.... More

The dishes here are inventive, delicious and totally unexpected for this unassuming restaurant. The meal started with good margaritas that were the right balance of sour and sweet made with real agave wine (and tequila of course). A pitcher produced four large glasses at a very reasonable price. The chips were fresh, warm and properly salty with nice thick spicy... More

The margaritas are very good. The service was outstanding and attentive. The guacamole was ok but quite small. The prices are an exceptional value because the food is excellent and the entree portions generous. No fajitas on the menu. That was the first sign of the non traditional experience were we're going to have. You get to read the menu... More

They don't take reservations but are worth the wait. A fusion of Mexican, Southwest & Spanish dishes to die for. Reasonable prices & great atmosphere, who could ask for more?

I'm not sure how it happens, but every time we eat at Red Mesa the it gets BETTER! The salsa and chips are always freshly made, the drinks are terrific, the appetizers, entrees and desserts (especially the fried ice cream) are fabulous and the service is always excellent! If we lived closer we'd be there every week!
