Oh, let the good times roll.

Breakfast, by any other name, isn't. Quite a southern variety from steel cut oatmeal to 'Big Boy' omelets with the richest cheese grits this side of the Miss. This is a find, and I'm going back with girlfriends to enjoy lunch, then the bookstore and antique finds across the street. Note: the... read more

Unfortunately, St. Petersburg (downtown area) really lacks in decent weekend breakfast spots. Tripps is one of the few offering traditional breakfast so it is crazy crowded on weekends. We live nearby and have been several times since they have opened- it has always been just "ok." Average eggs, pancakes, etc. This last time we decided it was our last time... More

Ordered corn beef hash breakfast, portions were woeful. Taste wise, Kristina's and Village Inn are better options. Our order did not even have hash browns.First and last visit for me.

Breakfast at Trip's is a must. They have some really tasty bacon, and the rest of their food is good at a reasonable price. It does fill up quite quickly, but they move people through pretty fast. Sundays after church tends to be the busiest time.

I finally visited Trip's and man, I was so surprised. It was packed but we were seated quickly and they were properly training new staff. So kinda hard to judge on that but food came out quickly and my goodness- pancakes were huge!!! And delicious!! I wish they were open late/all night because this place satisfies my breakfast food cravings!

This restraunt has a nice example of what a classic diner is with barstools, checkered floors, and red seats. The theme is old post cards and shows the old places in the area. I have been here 4 times and have good food each time and i will have to return!

Wow-We stopped by Trip's on the last day of our Visit to St Pete's. This hidden gem is amazing. Excellent service and the pancakes are perhaps the best I've ever eaten. Don't let the wait deter you... It's well worth it!

If you are looking for a great breakfast in an old fashioned diner this is your place. My husband and I visited as a result of a recommendation. Sausage was great, french toast and pancakes were some of the best I have had.The servers new their jobs. This is a restaurant with a lot of history and it is obviously... More

Not going to get into a big long review other than to recommend you go and try for yourself. Great breakfast and lunch food. Pretty varied menu and the best darn Reuben I have had in a long, long time.
