My girlfriend and I found out the hard way last night that St. Pete Diner was closed. Quite a shock actually as it's been part of the landscape for ages. Also quite a shame. This was a good restaurant with the best home style cooking you can find. Everytime you walk in there, you are treated like family instead of just a customer. I like to accepted as a new arrival and the kindness was here. Hot coffe always adds that boost and the was a game to play where you can try and win the Teddy Bears with the crane. Nice Nice Nice

The name says it all. Its a "diner" and feels like it the moment you pull into the parking lot. Older folk will really appreciate this feel. place needs cleaning, dont use toilet. but if just go for food/price, very good breakfast and sandwiches at cheap prices.
