Good food for me, not so much for co workers (salad)

Well I was there on a Sunday, I ordered the snapper, thought it ws great. Friendly server, knowledgeable. Coworkers ordered a salad they didn't care for. Musician would come around and serenade, some people danced, even though it wasn't busy. Not sure about the napkin throwing thing as the... read more

Great Greek cuisine in a entertaining environment. Chicken souvlaki platter comes with small salad. It was awesome! For entertainment, there was some Greek dancing by the staff as well as belly dancing.

Frequently Greek restaurants are the diner type, which is fine sometimes. But this was contemporary chic style and VERY good! All three enjoyed our meals. Happy hour specials were great. 2 for the price of 1, and the sangria was served in large glasses and was excellent. We opted to enjoy the sidewalk dining and will go back again! Menu... More

Our last Greek meal was in Greece. The Aropolis is a well run establishment with a very competent staff and an OK menu. Food was good. I would have liked to see olive oil on the table and tuna in a salad. They had beautiful salad greens and ripe tomatoes.

We had a family dinner and our server Chris was great. He took the time to explain the menu and gave us awesome food suggestions. This is definitely a fun place that accommodates any type of customer.

Atmosphere - quite contemporary, fun, upscale look. My only complaint would be the upholstery on the bench where I sat is in sore need of replacement. It didn't affect my meal or my experience, but it just wasn't "right." Price - Going on looks alone, I figured it would cost quite a bit more than it did. Of course, I'm... More

In town for Rays game and stumbled upon the Acropolis as we drove out Central Ave. My gyro was very good--full of tender lamb on tasty pita. I would have enjoyed more onion and the tzatziki might have been a bit more liberally distributed, but overall the sandwich was quite good. I also had a small side salad which was... More

We had lunch here after a walk around the St. Pete Arts district (fascinating in itself). The experience was mostly quite pleasant. Mostly, because my wife ordered mussels in a wine broth flavored with ouzo....it was quite delicious, but there were a significant number of unopened mussels, which means they're bad. The cook should never have sent those out. Our... More

Came to celebrate our daughter's 26 birthday and we were all thrilled with the food and the exceptional service from Chris. His wine suggestions were spot on with our meal choices. The sangria was perfect. We all got different meals and all of them looked and tasted excellent. The salmon was delicious. As were the souvlaki platter, gyro platter and... More
