Friendly little place a few blocks from the Beach Drive furor. Reliable selection of sandwiches, salads and pizzas with a decent selection of beer and wine. They have a back room with a pool table for large parties.

Went to my neighborhood tavern to watch a state team play in the tournament series and could not get them to turn on the sound for the game. Lots of us there early to watch and the owner decided it was in his best interest to earn juke box revenue rather than play the sound for the game. Guess I... More

The atmosphere of an old neighborhood tavern. Lots of patina. Neighborhood crowd. Football on several different screens. Excellent appetizers. Innovative pizzas. Mine was wild mushrooms, prosciutto, sun dried tomatoes and pesto. Sandwiches are a notch or two above typical tavern fare. Hers was grilled chicken with tomato, fontina, tomato and pesto aoli. Both were excellent. 31 beers on tap. Service... More

We went early ( had a minor with us) and ate a delicious dinner. The fruit quesadilla was very pleasant. Our food was great, and I can't wait to go back to hang out just to drink. Parking is what it is. They have a Frank Thomas pinball machine. Awesome.

This place does have some charm--it's nestled in the Old Northeast neighborhood of St. Petersburg--but essentially, it's a sports bar that caters to young men who come here to drink and watch the latest game on the big screen TVs. If you don't fall into that category, the waitstaff will tolerate you, but the food here just costs too much... More

This quaint neighbor restaurant & bar was a pleasant surprise. Unique draft beers, delicious appetizers, yummy sandwiches & amazing pizza! (I've never seen my mother get so excited after taking her first bite of the Cajun Chicken Pie!) Our server was very knowledgable, friendly & on top of his game! Tucked in a cute St. Pete neighbor, this place is... More

Stopped by on Memorial Day for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Cute atmosphere in the front part, kind of like a courtyard. I had the Apple Walnut salad, which was delicious. Who knew greens, nuts and fruit could taste so good -- although I suspect the dressing had something to do with it. My friend had the flank steak sandwich... More

We stopped in for lunch while visiting St. Petersburg on a warm Memorial Day weekend. The Florida Avenue Ale was cold and crisp like their coleslaw (which is spicy and fabulous by the way). Try the portabello on ciabatta for a tasty sandwich and sit in the bar for the full effect. Nice place!

This is like a little gem of a place thats just a couple of blocks away from where I live.... They have a pool table, real and plastic dartboards, board games, touchscreen games, and two jukeboxes. Also, craft beer, great food and Frank Thomas The Big Hurt Pinball machine....one of the most fun machines I've ever played (on your third... More
