My wife and I enjoyed a nice lunch here while visiting the St. Petersburg area. The food and service were good. The outdoor seating area was very pleasant. And, since we were missing our own canine pal, we enjoyed having some four-legged companions, and their human partners at the next table.

I did quick search for restaurants near the American Stage Theater Company and Museum of Fine Art that served brunch, and Cassis looked promising. We were pleasantly surprised to discover outdoor seating, as it was a lovely day -- that was very nice. However, the waiter was snippy, and the kitchen was not accommodating. We were not allowed to request... More

We had a great time eating here. The food is delicious and the staff attentive. My husband had the crab cake benedict, and it was delicious. The crab cake was cooked well and did not have an overabundance of potato or breadcrumbs to hold it together. I ordered the burrito with chorizo, scrambled eggs, and avocado. The burrito was different... More

Delicious French pastries in a typically Parisian setting. Had breakfast as well as lunch here. Food is good, but overpriced. Service is hit or miss...

The crab cake sandwich was covered in in sauce that the bun was soaking wet. I sent it back, waited for ever, when they fixed me a new one it had no bacon. They brought two huge rolls when we ordered sandwiches which to me was a waste. The French fries are to die for . I thought the service... More

Whenever I'm suggesting to get together with friends or family for cocktails, I always suggest Cassis. Their bar is quite chic and when complemented by the intimate cafe table seating inside, it's right out of early 20th century Paris and definitely evokes that vibe. Not only are the cocktails fantastic, but their happy hour and appetizer menu is one of... More

Cassis American Brasserie was selected by a local resident to host a post-wedding dinner for an out of town couple. She knew her business. The restaurant was great. We had a limited menu and I will speak only to what I selected. Grouper Tacos were delicious. I tried a flat bread selected by another guest and it was also excellent... More

If you are in downtown St. Petersburg, I recommend eating at Cassis. They have an outdoor setting overlooking the park and water across the street. They are very "dog friendly" and even have a doggie menu.

Nice Beach Drive location with outdoor seating. The menu is somewhat interesting. They allow dogs which would be nice if they put them in separate area from people with out dogs. A dog kept coming over to our table while we ate which was distracting. Ordered Sangria - big disappointment. It was served in a plastic bar pitcher, all ice... More
