Red Mesa Cantina is basically the hipper, more attractive, younger sibling of Red Mesa on 4th. The food offerings are similar, but the plates at the Cantina seem to be a bit smaller and lighter - think more tacos, and less large platters or steaks. I had a trio of tacos during my latest visit, and the duck tacos are... More

Honestly, was the best ceviche we have every tasted. Staff was super friendly. They have the most amazing outdoor eating area. Wish there was somewhere like this were we live. The prices are very very good. Can't say enough good things. Excellent food and atmosphere!

We stopped here again in Jan. 2015 and were not disappointed. It was as good as we remembered. It was a chilly day and we arrived a little after noon and were told it would be a 25 minute wait, but we could eat outside (too chilly) or we could eat in the outside bar area. It was a little... More

I really loved my pork dish and my husband liked his beef dish but the place is just too noisy. we were shouting at each other over the music and the other people. I wish we could have been seated outside but it was raining. will go bacvk again on a weeknight as it is ina greart location.;

This place has all the atmosphere you would ever want. Outside seating around a water treatment, a terrific outside bar plus another great bar inside. The menu is solid with plenty of traditional Mexican fare. Try the duck tacos for a special treat. Burritos were also excellent. Overall, a great place to enjoy the evening with friends. Will definitely be... More

we went to the Red Mesa on a Monday night and it was half full at about 7:30PM. We ordered the empanadas appetizer and found it to be a nice mix of the traditional Caribbean ground meat stuffed pastry with a nice crema and chopped tomatoes and cilantro Mexican style topping. Next we had the Cuban which was amazing and... More

Love to piece together a meal with duck taco and salad, or ahi tuna taco and salad, or the special of the day (recently, shrimp and grits, amazing!) Brunch is good too, if you are open to trying new flavors, southwestern influenced food. Sweet potato pancakes with agave syrup and sausage, yum!

We popped into Red Mesa on a First Friday and were so glad! The food was amazing! Ask for a hand crafted margarita you'll love them! Their food is delish, they have specials, along with regular menu fare, great indoor and out door seating, come casual or dress up. Price points are reasonable and the staff is great to recommend... We had hoped to sit outside, but no tables, so we were seated indoors where it was pretty loud and bustling. Try to plan ahead and secure a table outside. Our waiter seemed overworked and a bit frazzled. It was a Monday night so it happened to be "all day happy hour." Great deals on sangria, margaritas and wine by... More
