Disgusting chicken tacos! The red paprika seasoning was not tasty at all, and the corn tortillas fell apart on my hand because of the excess juices! The tortillas tasted as if they were pre-made, and they warmed them up in a microwave. When I asked for flour tortillas, I was told that the kitchen would not give me any, and... More

This was my second and final visit to this place. Although the staff was friendly, the food had not changed since my first visit. I wanted the steak taco, which is listed as a soft taco (we call those tortillas) in a hard shell which the restaurant has for other items. The server informed me that I could not make... More

Outside patio is a great relaxed yet classy place to eat. Great for a date night. Food was awesome, everything correct and cooked perfectly. Can't wait to go back.

Cool setting for a restaurant in downtown St. Pete. Really nice outdoor patio area. I ordered the Filet Al Chipotle, a filet Mignon burrito. It was by far the best burrito I have ever had. It was a tender cut of meat with a spicy sauce, served with rice/beans. Great food.

The food here was amazing! We had nachos and they were possibly the best I've ever had. The refried beans were perfect. We sat outside on a beautiful day and they keep it nice and breezy with big fans. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. I would most certainly go back.

Good service and good food...not blown away with taste...but food was fresh and served in a reasonable time. Had salmon served over vegetables and my partner had an American version of mofongo. Salmon was ok and partner disappointed with mofongo. Drinks were good but not excellent as well. The server was very attentive!

The chicken El Gordo burrito is the best burrito I have ever gotten in a restaurant. It was giant and filled with chicken and rice. Less amounts of beans and pico. Covered with a nice spicy queso sauce. Unbelievable. Rest of the items we ordered were also very good. Difficult menu for our picky eater because everything had tons of... More

Dined here after having eaten at the other original Red Mesa numerous times. Food was very good, service was efficient but we are not the loud music yuppie types that appear to frequent this venue. Had a long wait for a table and parking in this area can be difficult. It is a 45-60 minute drive to get here so... More

Are there spices that remain at the tip of our tongue? Are there spices that dive in right into the back of our throats? Which spices just make you cry? We pondered about such existential depths yesterday at Red Mesa Cantina. I don’t know if we got too deep because the service took so long, or because when the agave... More
