Since my other half and I live 40 minutes or so away, we usually come here over the weekends. They have brunch between 11-3 on Saturday and Sunday. While looking over the menu, have one of their Mimosas or Great Margaritas! The portions are Huge! The fish is always fresh. Make sure you sit outside. Takes you away from thinking... More

Duck taco - juicy meat paired well with the cheese Open faced shrimp quesadilla - perfection, just a few less tomatoes needed Yummy mimosas! The fruit starter is not worth it!!!! $5 for a mini side of melon and 2 grapes. Sit outside next to the cute fountain under a big umbrella.

My partner and I and two of our friends joined as a foursome at Red Mesa for lunch on Saturday afternoon. We had a wonderful time with a booth in the corner. Our server, Allison, recommended quality selections based on our preferences and we were not disappointed. Allison was attentive and especially kind to us. Oh, and the food was... More

There was a nice cool breeze so we opted to sit outside. The waiter seemed absent so one of his teammates took our drink order and rousted him. The Baja fish tacos were excellent but the Mexican Surprise specialty drink was an expensive ($9.50) disappointment. As for the waiter he predictably wandered off into the ether and had to be... You can dine indoors or out at this Mexican restaurant. We prefer the courtyard with its fountain and other water features. Ahi Tuna and Baja Fish tacos are especially good, as is the roast pork tortas, and the sangria is tasty. The place can get busy, which can mean a wait for service, but the staff is pleasant and the... More

Recommended by our hotel concierge, and boy was he right! Cucumber margarita? Yes, please! Inventive takes on Mexican standbys, like duck confit tacos. We started with ceviche, which was delightfully cool and fresh. Then I had the special of Los Chinos Tacos (pulled pork with BBQ sauce and Mexican kimchi), and my hubby had the El Gordo burrito. We were... More

I still daydream about the Seafood Mofongo at Red Mesa Cantina. Unfortunately it's only available on the brunch menu. So if you show up later in the day, I recommend you get the regular Mofongo (also amazing) with the Duck Quesadillas. I promise you will love your lunch!
