My wife and I have been several times for brunch and dinner, we both loved the appetizers and the main courses. The Jambalaya; Gumbo; Red Beans and Rice it was all very good, and it is so much to that Dessert is a take home item

On a rare Sunday off for brunch, we stopped at this Cajun style restaurant on Central in St. Petersburg. We stopped for Sunday brunch before going to the Tampa Bay Rays game. The decor, food and atmosphere is authentic to New Orleans which can only mean delicious. The grits were the best I've had east of NO. A must visit if in St Pete.

With a saxophone player and an atmosphere of quasi New Orleans, Ricky Ap's was fun. Cajun type menu, the food us pretty good though the service was very slow. The manager thank us for coming which I thought was a nice touch. I would try it again, hopefully next time get better service.

I went to both locations last year when I was in Bradenton. I went with a friend who had moved to St. Pete years ago and he knew the "home places'. I really enjoyed the two places. The one near the downtown was a little fancier but food was the same. Give me the original store for a fun place... More

This would be a top restaurant in New Orleans or Lafayette. The oyster po' boys are great. The gumbo is great. Whatever else they make, I am sure it is great. The flavor is truly authentic. This place is better than the majority of restaurants that serve Louisiana cooking in New Orleans. The decor is very attractive, and service is... More

This place was absolutely full at Brunch time. I went for lunch and the food was okay. It closes down pretty early too so I would only go again for a brunch.
