Oh, it's so good to have food reminding me of home!

What a great time we had at Ricky P's restaurant for the Jazz Brunch on Sunday before the Ray's game. I went to High School with Ricky at Rummel High School in New Orleans and it was great to see him and enjoy some New Orleans cuisine while in Florida. Nice little spot on central ave for a taste of Nawlins'... Went for Sunday brunch and the live music was a great touch...started off with the goudin balls: crunchy on the outside, warm and a little gooey on the inside (but with nice texture and not too spicy). The corn and crab bisque was creamy, a little sweet, and had... More

Poboys, Crawfish, Shrimp. Gumbo. All great and tasted like New Orleans specialties. Alot closer than taking a trip to Nawlins for food. Gotta try Ricky P's to check it out.

Ricky P's in St. Petersburg is a fun and perfect way to enjoy fabulous creole food before catching a Rays game at nearby Tropicana Field. All of the food we have tried has been delicious ! The crab cakes are to die for and the dill sauce with them is so good. The Po' Boys are huge and yummy. The... More

I tend to be too hard on New Orleans restaurants because I lived there for 7 years. So i try the traditional items to rate the restaurants and this one fell flat. They have beignets on Sunday --- the dough was too thick and gooey on the inside - still it's fried dough (they do that at the fair too)... More

Loved this place on 4th St in St Pete. Tryed them on Central and was VERY unhappy. Pork Po Boy was all cold slaw ( not hardly any pork. The Turkey Po Boy was ONE thin slice of Turkey and tomato and mayo. I could not believe how bad these Po Boys were. The highlight was the bread for $10.00.... More
