My wife I visited this 50 year old establishment for lunch on our vacation. She had gone many, many years ago and she wanted to re-visit one of her childhood memories. It is a local favorite with $2.49 ice cold mug beer (root beer for the kids) and a wonderful selection of smoked fish to eat in or take out... More

This last February, my wife and I flew to Fort Meyers Florida to attend a recruiting workshop. To celebrate my wife's birthday during our trip, I treated her to two days at Walt Disney World in Florida. Returning from Orlando, I thought it would be fun to stop by one of the diners that had been profiled in Guy Fieri's... More

We discovered Ted Peters our on last trip to St Petersburg and went twice during our week. The smoked salmon and potato salad was delicious. Portions are huge and prices are low !! The only issue was that both times it was so busy and getting a table can be a challenge, but definitely worth the wait. We will be... More

If you like fish, you must go. Ted Peters smokes its fish for hours. This alchemy turns an ordinary mullet or salmon into something special. Just get the fish dinner that comes with cole slaw and a really good German potato salad. Portions are huge. Small appetites can share for an additional fee. Prices are small. It's not fancy. You... I have been going to Ted Peters for over 40 years. It is always good. Yesterday, I stopped by to get a smoked salmon. You can get the fish to go at the smoke house. When I am not in mood for smoked salmon or mullet, they have one of the best burgers in the city. Top it all off... More

If you live around St. Petersburg, chances are good that you know of Ted Peter's! Love their smoked mullet along with a smoke fish dip that is great! Those are only two things but trust me, everything on the menu is good. If you are visiting in the area, I'd recommend a real Florida experience. As long as I have... More

Coming from the Uk and as frequent visitors to the USA we enjoy watching diners drive ins and dives. We saw this on the programme recently and were not disappointed. The smoked fish sandwich was superb and the chowder my wife had was tasty. We got their just after opening at 11.30am and most of the tables were occupied. Service... More

Went on a breezy October Sunday afternoon for lunch. The lunch of smoked salmon provides about half of a fish! Couldn't eat it all. Cost $12.+ and the side of German potato salad, $3.75 and a pint of smoked fish spread, $8.99. With the snowbirds starting to come down to Florida, restaurants are very busy. This one is a favorite... More

The salmon is moist and delicious but some of the other fish is dry after smoking. The platters are huge and for $20 you would hope so. My advice is split one. Key lime pie is tart but tasty. Our server was a delight. She made our experience.

We both had the smoker Mahi Mahi dinner, and German potato salad. Smoked fish of any kind, was a first time for both of us. It becomes hard to rate ANY restaurant when the taste of the food is not to your liking. (therefore average) We both agreed that Smoked fish is not our, "I must have this again" need.... More
