Like the outside dinning. Very shady and comfortable, but our waitress was rude. I'm all about great customer service and she just didn't have it. My fiancé was pleased I just wasn't impressed with the food. Sauce was tasty though.

Ted Peters is the first place that I go to when I arrive in St Pete. The smoked Mullet dinner is served with German Potato Salad with real bacon and a creamy coleslaw. The Mullet has a few extra bones so you'll want to be careful when eating - pay close attention; we don't want you swallowing or choking on... More

We saw this place on Diners Drive-ins and Dives and had it on our list to try. While visiting family in the area, we had to go and it was all that Guy made it out to be! They have outdoor seating and the service was really good. Our table ordered the smoked fish dip, smoked mullet, smoked mahi, German... More

Guess it's a matter of taste - certainly not the smoked fish spread you'd get in New England or New York. The dominant flavor in Ted Peters' version is sweetness, I assume from a preponderance of relish -- almost like they are trying to disguise the flavor of the fish. Hot sauce helps. The potato salad was also sweet and... More

I've visited the area a few times in the past few years since my sister has moved to the area, and I make a point to come here every time. This is a very casual place where you can sit indoors or out, picnic bench-style seating. The smoked fish spread is delicious! I also love the mullet and salmon dinners.... More

Ted Peters has been at the same old stand on Pasadena Avenue in St. Petersburg for more than 50 years. How many restaurant owners can make that statement? It was one of the first restaurants my family visited when we began vacationing on St. Petersburg Beach in the late 1940s and early 1950s. And he's the only one still in... More

I LOVE this place. Glamorous--no. Fantastic food, great prices and all the old St Pete you can stand soaking up, yes! This is hands down my favorite thing to do/place to eat on a visit to the area. We always bring some home with us to enjoy later and extend the experience. I had the fish spread sandwich for the... More

My wife and I dined here twice while on vacation. The atmosphere is very casual (and open air restaurant), and there is a large local following. Seat yourself, first come first served. The service was excellent and efficient. The first night we split the smoked salmon dinner and an order of the potato salad. The second visit we both had... More

We tried the mackerel and salmon which tasted fresh and moist but absolutely no seasoning. The manhattan chowder was so so but again we had to load it up with salt and pepper. The prices were high, you can go to wards seafood market and get smoked fish a lot cheaper with seasoning.
