We stopped in for a quick lunch. They have a somewhat smaller menu, but still have some good choices. The Shrimp & Grits are awesome! And I don't like grits! My only suggestion would be to remove the tails from the shrimp before setting them on the cheesy grits. I have never understood why restaurant leave the tails on shrimp... More

We stayed at DonCesar hotel, and as always, went to Seahorse for breakfast every day. It is a great breakfast place - nice friendly staff and great food. Good value as well. Hard to beat.

Went to Seahorse for lunch. While the menu was limited, it had a very authentic, old-time diner-type feel. I started with the fish spread, which was good (though they only brought 3 packs of crackers which was odd) and had the patty melt, a very traditional patty, cheese and grilled onions on grilled rye bread. It was delicious

I live in St Pete Beach and there is no shortage of breakfast restaurants here. I do give Seahorse the thumbs up for the setting. It does have a nice old time feel and is close to the water. I have been there 3 times and each time there was a wait...usually 10-15 minutes. The service was good but I... More

Warm and friendly atmosphere. Weekends there is always a line but it moves fast. Great little place on the intercostal with great breakfasts and service.

This place has been around forever. The decor shows you the history of the restaurant, as well as the local area. Prices are pretty good, and the food is served quickly, with a smile. You can have a mimosa with your breakfast any morning of the week. It is a local hangout as well, so you know its good. Food... More

I have been coming here since I was 12 years old and now I am 72. I worked on a boat at Hubbard's Pier with Capt Joe Dvoracsek, my uncle. We would stops in the morning and get breakfast . The menus is great and the grits can't be beat. If you want value, great food, this the spot.
