Old Time Florida Local Restaurant

If you want a great breakfast or lunch right on the beach, across from the wharf this is a great place. It's like walking into "old time" Florida with pinewood booths and lots of kitsch decor. Friends were in town and wanted a fried fish sandwich and a beach to walk on. TripAdvisor lead us to Seahorse Restaurant and we weren't disappointed. There's nothing fancy about SR, they have an adequate lunch menu and apparently a brisk breakfast following. Breakfast is served until noon during the week; 1:00 on the weekends. We were surprised that grouper... More

While staying in Pass-a-Grille, we had breakfast here every morning. It is the best breakfast, wonderful coffee and the service is fast and friendly. I thought the prices were the best I have ever seen. And I have traveled to many cities and never had this much for breakfast at this price!!!

Have eaten in this fun place numerous times over the years. Love it! The breakfasts are basic...eggs, omelettes, grits, pancakes, etc. mimosas, too! Coffee is not the best, but atmosphere makes up for it. Waitstaff is wonderful...so friendly. Unless you get there early...open at 8:00 am., will have to wait. Have seats outside so no big deal. Lunches good, too.... More

To be honest, although my breakfast was good, it certainly was nothing special. The waitress was friendly and stopped by often, which I appreciated. I had the short stack of the pecan pancakes, an order of bacon, and coffee and the bill was just under $12. Don't get me wrong, the breakfast was good, just not special and a bit... More

This place is a landmark, wonderful location across from the bay. Large portions of classic breakfast foods, and the coffee keeps coming.

My husband and I loved this little restaurant. It's a busy place for a reason. We sat in the outside picnic table area both times and found it to be so relaxing. Great service and good food for a reasonable price. Looking forward to returning in April.

So last week we were in a conference at a local resort. Didn't care for the continental breakfasts. We snuck out to the Seahorse and ate a good breakfast every morning. We would drive a car over and walk the 3 miles back to the hotel. Then get in another car and come get the first car. Had to walk... More
