Place is clean. Service good. Food is good. Grits are tasty. They are consistent. Close early. (They need to put "buckwheat pancakes" on the menu!! :)

Good service, fine breakfast, got a parking space right in front with no problem. Reasonable prices, waterfront view.

After a few years of seeing the Seahorse, I walked down from Coconut Inn one morning for breakfast. Got right in, had coffee right away. Good, not too strong, not weak, not too bitter, not old. Grits and eggs over medium. Grits made well, not soupy or too dry. Eggs did not have runny whites or over cooked yolks. Made... More

This fantastic little restaurant offers wonderful breakfast in an old, wood laden, quaint building along the water. Indoor and outdoor seating. I prefer to sit out on the patio basking in the morning sun. I've ordered many items on the menu. However, the shrimp and grits are my absolute favorite. Crispy bacon sprinkled over seared, spicy gulf shrimp and cheesy... More

This is our favorite breakfast on St Pete Beach and nothing else is close. Not fancy, just really good food. Today my wife had blueberry pancakes and she said they were perfect. I had their grits and eggs. I don't like grits but these are fabulous. We look forward to this place every time we visit.

It's been many years since I've been to the Sea Horse but it was always an old favorite. Used to come here monthly to have peel & eat shrimp and beer with my Mom; lots of great memories. The place hasn't changed much; still good food & friendly good service. The only sad thing: no more peel & eat shrimp... More

I have been a visitor to St Pete beach for over 20 years and have seen this restaurant on many occasions but never tried it! How foolish have I been, its a wonderful gem hidden a block back from the beach overlooking the bay area. We called in for breakfast and whilst the restaurant was packed we were quickly found... Great Food reasonable prices... Very beachy/nautical décor. We ate there twice during our visit to Pass-a-grille.

I love the Seahorse for breakfast and lunch. Not fancy, no fuss just really good home cooking. The grits are awesome for breakfast and the patty melt at lunch is fantastic. The service is always good. A trip to Pass a Grille wouldn't be complete without at least one meal at the Seahorse

When I moved away I was afraid I'd never have the pleasure of eating here again. Surprise...back on business and I beelined it to Seahorse for breakfast and a gorgeous morning on the beach. Good food, good price, great coffee, awesome service, cheerful wait staff. Would move here just to have breakfast at seahorse....but of course there are also other... More
