If you enjoy being treated rudely by snotty male waiters then this is the place for you.As you enter the restaurant you'll be greeted by a nubile underdressed Hooters type of hostess and shown to a table of her choice.THis gives the impression that this restaurant hopes you'll be impressed and go along with their charade of pretending to be... more

Went here for the first time. The food was great!!! 6 of us went so we got to sample lots of stuff!!! The spicy shrimp was fantastic. The scallops were some of best we ever had, would put them up with a 5 stars!!! Make sure you get the fresh hot rolls. The nightly specials are awesome prices!!!! more

Maybe it was because we eat early and our waiter thought that meant we were cheap, but we were treated poorly by our waiter. We both got the steak/shrimp early bird special, which was pretty good for what we paid. It came with a side dish - potatoes or rice, which we weren't asked what we wanted - just given... more

I ate at the Oyster Shucker on Monday, November 19th. I picked the place by chance, after leaving Philthy Phil's without eating because they were not interested in giving a single diner a dining room seat with a view, despite being only about 1/3 full (when I showed up and after I finished dinner at Oyter Shucker--I checked on my... more

The food at Oyster Shucker is fantastic, I have relatives that come from out of town and want to eat dinner at Oyster Shucker then listen to music at Woody's across the street. It's almost a ritual. Coquilles St Jacques scallops are divine, and the lobster & shrimp pasta is the best anywhere! Go back and try it again, it's... more

If I could give them less than 1, I would. On a recent trip to Florida, we decided to eat there. What a mistake! The hostess was rude when telling us where we had to sit, and the waitstaff seemed as though we were doing them a favor by eating there. We got up and left before even placing a... more

I had friends and family visiting from the Midwest, and we decided to have dinner at Oyster Shuckers Restaurant on St Pete Beach. Since there were nine of us, I called that afternoon and made a reservation. I requested outdoor tables, and they said they would try to accommodate us. Since we are in our slow season, I didn’t expect... more

We were in St Pete Beach first week of February. The Oyster Shucker was our favorite place. We ate there twice. We found the prices very reasonable. The food, drinks and dessert were excellent. The servers were very efficient both times. It's a friendly place. Can't wait to go back. We would highly recommend it. more

Visited St Pete Beach for first time in October 2006 after exhausting "the Disney thing" in previous years, and can't believe we didn't come before. Absolutely fabulous beaches and such a laid -back atmosphere and so quiet at this time of year - great! We found dining mostly casual, but for evening dining found the Oyster Shucker perfect. The decor... more
