The Flying Bridge is quintessential Florida dining. From its origins as an authentic cracker cottage - the simple architectural style of the state's first settlers - to the fresh grouper sandwiches of its kitchen, the restaurant serves up an experience that you can't find outside of the Sunshine State. In warm weather, the restaurant's open-air feel gives you fresh gulf breezes and spectacular views of the beach with our meandering waterway running right beneath you. The all-day menu features a wide range of appetizers, salads, burgers, chicken and fresh seafood sandwiches. In the evenings, The Flying Bridge's extensive menu expands to include even more items, including fresh salmon, grouper, shrimp and other heavier dinner selections that you can enjoy while you watch the sun set over the horizon.

nice spot

This is a nice spot to grab some quick food or drinks by the pool and beach at Tradewinds resort. Open air with nice views. Wait staff was very friendly.

We ate there Sunday and Monday of Memorial Day weekend and we had an unforgettable experience starting with the quality and freshness of the food. We ordered the fried grouper and it was the best we've ever had almost as if they just caught it themselves; the ribeye steak was incredibly tender and perfectly cooked to our liking with the... Every year that we come back we make sure to go to the Flying Bridge several times! By far some of the best pool side food in Florida!

Demise was our waitresses. Very attentive and funny. The service was prompt and the food was good. Standard beach resort fare and decent cocktails. We will definitely be returning.

My step father brought my wife and I a wrap from the Flying Bridge while we were lounging beachside. This was a great wrap indeed. So much so that the next 3 days in a row we went back. The customer service was impeccable!

Food was great! It is in the middle of everything at TradeWinds Island Grand and was extremely busy!!! It didn't bother us as we were vacationing but for those on a schedule, it might be tough!

Steps from the pool at the TradeWinds, Flying Bridge is a great place for a cool lunch and a break from the sun. Loved my turkey wrap one day an my caesar salad another day. Went back because we liked it so much. Found the staff to be quite friendly and helpful. Allowing my niece the opportunity to order off... More

Convenient to beach and pools casual and never over-crowded. Recommend the crabcake sandwiches and the skewered shrimp. Attentive service and always offered ice tea to go when we were leaving.

While swimming in the ocean and the awsome pools at Tradewinds, the kids get hungry. We ordered chicken tenders and fries and they were high quality and fresh tasting. Would like to go back and try their fish sandwich. Service was great at the bar with plenty of beers on tap. Would recommend!

We've eaten here three times on our trip and thoroughly enjoyed the food. The servers, Becky, Megan, and Mai were very attentive and a lot of fun!
