The Flying Bridge is quintessential Florida dining. From its origins as an authentic cracker cottage - the simple architectural style of the state's first settlers - to the fresh grouper sandwiches of its kitchen, the restaurant serves up an experience that you can't find outside of the Sunshine State. In warm weather, the restaurant's open-air feel gives you fresh gulf breezes and spectacular views of the beach with our meandering waterway running right beneath you. The all-day menu features a wide range of appetizers, salads, burgers, chicken and fresh seafood sandwiches. In the evenings, The Flying Bridge's extensive menu expands to include even more items, including fresh salmon, grouper, shrimp and other heavier dinner selections that you can enjoy while you watch the sun set over the horizon.

Good drinks

Pricey drinks like the rest of the resort, but the bartender here did not skimp. I had their signature drink, and it was different but tasty. Supposedly really good food here, but the smell is a bit off-putting (it is on a beach though so dampness can't be avoided).

While vacationing on St Pete Beach, the Flying Bridge has by far provided the best service and drinks. Kevin Keefe the bartender, is excellent. We have made this our to go spot due to his great recommendations and awesome service.

Food is amazing and their staff is second to none. I'd love to clone their training program. So courteous and fun to be around. It always helps that the food is on par with high end restaurants but is just steps from the beach and pools. Special shout out to Jerica! She's amazing!!!

We were looking for a quick snack near the beach and the Flying Bridge seemed to fit the bill. It is a small place in the center of the resort but while bustling provided decent service and a basic Cobb salad filled with bleu cheese, bacon, eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, avocado, lettuce and choice of dressings served in a plastic bowl.... I love the burger here. They offer take-out, and refilled my iced tea while I waited for my food each day. Friendly staff, fast food service, and several draught beers. The restaurant overlooks the kid's pool which is handy for parents. Relatively good value for money. Friendly staff, nice sunny location, breezy indoor area with sports screens, and an outdoor... One of the 3 ordered the Tuna sandwich which all 3 of us agreed was bland and was missing the pickle spear. The Conch chowder was very good but not hot. Nothing special about the salads. We only ate lunch there once so maybe the dinner items are better. Our server forgot about us....drinks were empty or watery and took... More

This is a nice spot to grab some quick food or drinks by the pool and beach at Tradewinds resort. Open air with nice views. Wait staff was very friendly.
