Description: The Flying Bridge is quintessential Florida dining. From its origins as an authentic cracker cottage - the simple architectural style of the state's first settlers - to the fresh grouper sandwiches of its kitchen, the restaurant serves up an experience that you can't find outside of the Sunshine State. In warm weather, the restaurant's open-air feel gives you fresh gulf breezes and spectacular views of the beach with our meandering waterway running right beneath you.

Solid hotel restaurant. The food was good and priced OK for being a hotel restaurant. It has a great location, by the pool and beach.

When here, a must is the bartender Kevin Keefe's home made Bloody Mary, truly the best I have had, not to mention he is one hell of a nice guy. No wonder he has been here for 15 years

On those evenings we felt like eating dinner in the room, we would normally order "take out" from Flying Bridge, and the food was generally excellent. Turkey burgers (one of our faves) were great, as were the crispy and hot french fries. We also enjoyed the chicken fritters and key lime pie. Hamburgers were kind of average, as were the... More

The food was fine, the bloody mary's were excellent! We really enjoyed our waiter, Jimmy. He had us cracking up and was promt and welcoming. Fun spot, with pretty good food and a great view of the beach.

Stayed at Tradewinds diring an unusual cold snap. Some amenities were not available during our visit. Kevin's sparkling personality and good service made our visit. He rocked at karaoke as well. Thanks Kevin!

In the middle of the afternoon pull up a chair under an umbrella and have a refreshing drink. Love the beautiful swan that hangs out there.

We visit this resort a few times a year and the Flying Bridge is always a hit with us. There is nothing fancy on the menu but it's always very fresh and well-prepared. The service has always been great - fun, friendly, interactive servers. It's on the beachside of the resort which I like but you are looking at the... More

Visited at lunch. Had a yummy chicken wrap and chips. It was very good, but about average food & selection. Server Rick H. was great, very attentive & prompt.
