Love this place. Never had a bad meal and the happy hour margarita's are great! The service has always been good and a nice view on the bay.

The table tops are dirty and sticky, the food is just adequate but the wait staff was OK. Went to dinner on a Saturday evening and was very disappointed. The young man who waited on the table was the only bright spot in the experience.
The seafood boil is fabulous as well as the Grouper. Like that it is very casual & you can dine in your boating clothes. It gets a little crowded in the evening but if you arrive before 4pm it is not as bad.
The restaurant itself has definitely seen better days. If you like the dingy diner atmosphere this place is for you! I had the blackened grouper which was pretty good. It seemed like the place to get fried food. We asked the waiter questions about the menu but he was clueless since he said that he doesn't eat seafood. Kind of...

Recently we took some friends out while on vacation. Sea critters seemed like a good choice since we both had kids. Service was a tad slow especially when you have children who are hungry. Food is overpriced for the quality, other than the grouper fingers nothing really stuck out as great. Probably wont go back again.
After many subpar food and service exoeriences at many local eateries we went on trip advisor ratings and ate at Sea Critters. The waitress was not as prompt as I preferred but she and the other help provided everything we needed and wanted. Great food with friendly service a rarity we found in this area. We will be back!
For dinner, we felt that Sea Critters had some food that was very good, some that was more in the just good category. It was also priced appropriately for a family on vacation. The atmosphere was fun and inviting.
Our best food were the kids fish nuggets believe it or not, and the key lime pie. We got it based...

Everything Sea Critters was great. From Scott's Margaritas at the bar- along with some really good Conch Fritters, and in-house Smoked Fish 'tartar', to the fresh Wahoo dinners both my wife and I had,-each with a different 'sauce' to accompany the fish, made this a terrific dinner.
Sitting on the deck, enjoying a great view -with good drinks, and excellent...

Love this restaurant, it is a favorite on our visit to St. Pete. Sit back and enjoy the delicious seafood or sandwiches. They have one of the best Cuban sandwiches or try the seafood Reuben, out of this world!
Recommended by the staff at the Don Cesar. Great selection of food, particularly the catch of the day. Great selection of beers. A place that is clearly popular with the locals but still manages to welcome visitors with a smile. Great fun feeding the fish out the back after dinner!
