Fresh, tasty seafood in a casual atmosphere, right on the water, at a decent price. So good, we ate there twice during our stay. Don't forget to cross the street and watch the sunset on Pass-a-Grille after dinner.

We stopped in for a light lunch, had the smoked fish dip and fried oysters, and enjoyed them both. Not a fancy joint but a nice spot right next to the canal, boaters can drive right up to it. The server was friendly.

it is always iffy with small beach town restaurants. Mostly turn and burn bland food but we were pleasantly surprised with Sea Critters. Casual feel, good waiter, open air on water and yummy fish dishes. I had the tuna sashimi and my husband had a grilled something (can't remember which fish) which were both delicious.

This cafe/Bar dose not look much from the road but you won't be disappointed from a good range of quality food and drinks. This is the best place that I know of to have a Margarita as they make their own from scratch. its one of the nicest places to be able have dinner on the dock watching boats ,... More

We honestly can't brag enough about this place. LOVE!!! We had an awesome waitress. The margaritas are great, and half off during happy hour :)

Sea Critters will cook up the fish you just caught on the Miss Pass a Grille fishing charter and add two sides. They do a fabulous job and knowing that you just caught the fish yourself makes it that much better!

My son and I ate here after our fishing cruise and brought our own fish. Considering they only provided fries and a vegetable, it was terribly overpriced. Our fish was delicious but the rest was average. The view of the channel was nice. The server was okay. The server for the next table, however, was not very good and I... More

This place is basically a shack balanced on the edge of the water. Fab fresh fish and friendly service. Expect to pay $120 for sea bass for 4.

We made a detour on our way from Tampa back to Sarasota and stopped here for lunch. The grouper sandwich, blackened, was truly delicious and the peel and eats were nice and spiced like we like them. Little misting tubes attached to the outdoor fans made it more bearable in the humid, August heat. Would definitely make another trip if... More

I saw mixed reviews and our rental owner panned this place telling us straight up to avoid it, but we liked it. Our food was decent and a nice little location on the docks. We had appetizers and desert, enjoyed it totally, and we both agreed that we would go back.
