We visited with a large group for dinner, and went a little earlier than typical dinner time to accommodate our group. The servers were really awesome - they remembered everything and served us super quick. The kids enjoyed visiting PJ the bird while waiting for food, and even stapled a dollar bill to the wall. The crab legs were huge,... More

Granted I was with my favorite people in the world, this restaurant became a local favorite of mine. Get the Grouper Sandwich and a beer! Pairs well together. The grouper is amazing, and I was given a very generous slice of fish.

Our server, Mary Lou from the time took our drinks was annoyed. This dinner was my sister, neice and her two children 9&10. If you have kids you have to figure what they want and what you want and when we weren't prepared we got the sighs of done with us. When we sat the hostess ask if we wanted... More

The crab sandwich is delicious! There was a heaping portion and the flavor was perfect. The homemade clam chowder was also yum! Those in my party got the buffalo chicken sandwiches and it was hot and just the right amount of sauce. The shrimp was good as well. The only disappointment was the key lime pie, but I just back... We had been to PJ's a few years ago while vacationing in the Madeira Beach area. Actually dined there twice and had great food and service. We were so looking forward to eating there again and afterwards were so disappointed. We started off with oysters which were good and reasonably priced. However from there things were not so good. Husband... More

I have been to Indian rocks beach PJs numerous times and have always been a huge fan! However, this was my first visit to this PJs and I am terribly disappointed! The coconut shrimp was so over cooked it was not even edible! The grouper sandwich was dried out and very small serving for the price! Sorry, I won't be... More

I have been going to PJ's since the 1990's. It was always our 'go to' restaurant. Land in Tampa, go to PJ's then on to the condo. Lately it has been either a great experience or a disappointing one. I am not sure what happened. During a recent visit the food was excellent and well priced. We had the Lobster... More

PJs has been our go to place for years! My sister in law and I were on a girls only vacation. I talked and talked about how great the food here is. I was ever disappointed! The service was bad, the food was bad, the wait was bad. The place was almost empty. We had to wait for our drinks... More
