this was our favourite st. pete beach eatery (by far!) on our recent trip! pros: - excellent service! - delicious food! (we had the crusted tuna (yummy and so flavourful!), the mahi mahi (fabulous & so fresh!) and our son loved the kids fish and chips (he's quite a picky eater these days and devoured it!) - vibe offered a... We came in for a late lunch early dinner and was told we had a 20 min wait so we decided to sit at the bar for a drink. Ordered, gave the bartender our military IDs in which she said she wouldn't accept them. Fuming, as we were here vacationing because my husband just got back from deployment, I replied... More

Cool ambience with tiki torches and outside waiting area. Seafood good to very good. Not fancy dining so great value.

Great dining experience with fresh fish and wonderful service. It's conveniently located on the south end of the beach.

They say you only get what you pay for. In this case it is pleasant to report that you seem to get better than the cost of the meal. We had a selection of fish dishes and they were cooked well with an imaginative twist to compilation and presentation. Atmosphere was quite up-market without being stuffy and overall an enjoyable,... Lovely setting and location for a super meal. Menu was mostly seafood but each dish had a little 'difference' on offer not see in other locations. Clearly care is taken with menu choices and meals prepared with care and 'taste' in mind.

Great little local spot just about 5 minute walk from the Postcard Inn. We were sat immediately. The service was good. Food was good. I'm gluten free and settled for the seafood risotto. The hubby ordered the oysters. He loved them. They were HUGE. Great flourless chocolate cake and creme brulee.

Snappers is absolutely one of the best restaurants on the beach! Every time we've eaten there, the food is extremely fresh and prepared perfectly. The service is outstanding. This has an upscale restaurant feel, but is still quite casual. The prices are very affordable.

I'm surprised they have the TripAdvisor rating that they do. Great ambiance, great service but very average food. Swordfish that was supposedly caught less than 24 hours ago according to waiter, was the driest, most tasteless pieces of swordfish I have ever tasted. Why lie?? Grouper was ok but bland. Salads were their strong point? If you're in a rush... More
