Great View, Great Drinks. so-so Food

I live in the area and go to the Hurricane often to enjoy their 'Voodoo Juice' at their beautiful rooftop bar. However, the food is not my favorite part of this restaurant. Great local place to grab a sandwich. The attraction is on the very top of this restaurant, its about 3 stories high and on the top floor its all outside with a view that is amazing. Different bands play and a bar to have a few cocktails. Great for pictures.

St. Pete beach is an amazing place, but don't leave without spending an evening at Passe-a-grille at the sourthern most point of SPB at the Hurricane- great meal and then after dinner drinks on the rooftop with live music and watching th sunset. This is a must do!! Amazing......will be back..... Count on it!

Went there for lunch with six people. The calamari is different from the normal. They do it right. The alligator bites were very tasty and the sauces good. Had the grouper sandwich blackened and the others for some stupid reason had them fried. The blackened grouper sandwich was really really good. The other guys liked their fried grouper as well.... Sunset atop Hurricanes on the rooftop bar is amazing. Two different restaurants, one on each level. We ate at the first floor restaurant. Food was average, except the burger which was amazing!

The Hurricane is legendary for its Grouper sandwich, and it is still the best on the beach. Not in the middle of the crowded tourist section, so you have to drive here (unless you are staying in Pass a Grill). It is worth the trip. Dine on the second floor for great views, or have drinks on the third floor... More

Great location, great food (we had grouper), great staff. Probably one of the best choises for seafood. At sunset St Pete is the place to go .

Stay away from the $24 T-bone steak, not worth $10. The night we went it was very crowded, and we wanted to have a drink while we waited 45 min, the hostess was suppose to check the bar to see if there was room, she never came back!

Food and service were very good...great location, by the main public beach area. Ate here during the week, at an off time, so there wasn't any wait, but on week ends, it is packed

Going for the paradise wedding on a tropical beach? Looking for the perfect location to host the reception? Look no further than the Hurricane. Not only the food tastes good, but the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The bride will definitely feel special.
