Drove to St. Pete’s to meet friends on one of the hottest days on record. It was suggested that we drive to the beach and have lunch at Hurricane. Not sure who suggested it, which is not a bad thing, because I think I might not speak to them again. This is NOT a place to eat. Drink, yes. Eat,... More

Usually a decent place because of the roof top bar. We were really disappointed to find the restaurant was open but the roof top bar was closed on a Saturday during sunset on September 13th, 2014, with no reason or explanation from any of the staff. Took our business to a new place called Tequila Mockingbird around the corner. Awesome... More

We were there when only the downstairs dining room was open ( Tuesday Nite ) The food was average with the exception of the two soups on the menu, which were the highlight of the meal.Key Lime pie was pretty good. So, I guess I recommend Soup and then go straight to the pie.

We enjoyed the crab cake appetizer and Grouper sandwiches for our lunch. The food was excellent! We couldn't believe the amount of crab meat. Well worth the money.

I had high hopes for this place but was disappointed. The inside seating is limited and cramped. It is not baby/toddler friendly. The service was average. The quality of the food was average at best and is overpriced for the amount/quality that my family received. That best thing going for this restaurant is the location which is across the street... Do not plan your parties here. Had a group of 25 people for my mothers birthday and went in the day before to confirm and he manager was a jerk to us and said all his servers are calling out sick. The event planner supposably called out sick too and he said the rooftop will be closed the night we... More

I'll start off with the fact that i never leave restaurant reviews, but this time i will. I was that frustrated with the service at this establishment. My wife asked for a glass of water that never got until reminded the server. They literally serve their soups in coffee cups, even their bowls are tiny. When i ridiculed the server about... More

Years ago we use to come to St Pete with my husbands family and our sons. We always went to the Hurricane. Hadn't been back to St. Pete in a while so was surprised to see the restaurant still there. They didn't disappoint. The Grouper Fish and Chips was awesome as always. The grouper was battered perfectly and was white... More

We were there twice this weekend..once on Saturday and once on Sunday. Upon walking up to the outside seating on the Deck, we see the hostess walk away. She was gone for about five mins before returning. Once she returned she smelled like an ashtray! She had no personality, was wearing shorts that were super short and tight they looked... More

There's really not much to say, the food was just ok, the service was slow, not a bad place, needs improvement, the staff were for the most part pleasant, the guy in charge seemed pissed off at something and that was reflected in how he spoke to staff and customers, I might try it again but I'm more likely to...
