The Hurricane is located in Historic Pass-a-Grille which is a section of St. Pete Beach. They have a rooftop deck/bar where you can get one of the best views in all of the Gulf. The drinks are great and reasonably priced. The waiter was the most honest I've ever had in that he told us which fish came in frozen... More

A St. Pete Beach classic. Bottom level is casual dining, upstairs fine dining, rooftop bar. The food is okay. They don't have much local fish to choose from. The Grouper sandwich is decent. A little overpriced. Rooftop bar is fun; sometimes has live music. Great place to watch sunset. They don't serve food up there, but you can buy it... More

The hostess on the indoor seating area was MIA, we stood there and stood there. Servers zipped by, no one acknowledged us. So we went outside to sit, the upstairs outdoor eating area didn't open until 5pm, which was unfortunate, we could have seen the water much easier. in any case our server Rick was great, he really knew the... Went to the rooftop patio for drinks and to watch the sunset. The view was amazing and the beer was cold. There was live music which was great. Well with the four flights if stairs, or elevator.

With the six of us being ready to eat it took for ever to get our meal. It took me 3 try to just get my water refilled and then our waiter took my glass n forgot. Two of us had the chicken Alfredo and when we got it there was no Alfredo sauce on it and had to ask... More

The scratch margaritas I had were fantastic. But the service, cleanliness, and food were disappointing. We were there at dinner time on 4th of July. I'm sure they had been slammed all day, but still... We were able to see lots of fireworks displays from the rooftop, though, which was very cool.

Grouper fish is cooked to perfection. I have also had crab legs OH how wonderful. Prices are good not over budget. Fresh seafood always very clean.

We visited the evening of July 19th and were greeted by a man who should not be the face of the restaurant. He was very edgy and not overly helpful. When we found out it was a 45 minute wait to be seated inside, we elected to go to the outside hostess (apparently they are totally separate seating processes, which... More

Our family 'discovered' The Hurricane Restaurant approximately 15 years ago and have made it a regular stop after a day at the beach. The beach, sand, surf and sunsets are unparalleled! Unfortunately, the last 3-4 times we have experienced very poor service. The most recent was the worst! Once seated at the table, our server was slow to appear, was... More

We ate at The Hurricane several times as we stayed at the hotel right next door. We also had family come to the beach for a day, and we had lunch there as a large group. Having eatend at tons of different eateries in the area over the years, I would have to give The Hurricane pretty good marks. The... More
