For everyone who loves redemptive powers of the sea and the sensual tastes of the very freshest foods and great drinks, the cure is indeed here: St. Pete Beach’s most festive dining experience, The Salty Rim Grill. The Salty Rim is something from the imagination of an old Florida dreamer or Buffet song. the fresh food is influenced by the great tastes of the Caribbean, Florida Keys and places that rim the Gulf of Mexico. But it’s even more than that, The Salty Rim is a state of mind; the nearest faraway place that the fun loving people of Tampa Bay can escape to… and please when you enter, be sure to check your worries at the door.

Good night at the Salty Rim

This un-pretentious hole in the wall was a fun night. Our server Chelcie and her twin sister were a pleasure keeping us flush with Rum and Tequila. The food is ok. The wings were good. Meaty and not over cooked with good seasoning. The $5 rum runners were a hit for me. We closed the place and... read more

We stopped in with our family ( kids and grandkids) for drinks and food. While the kids played at the adjacent playground we enjoyed great drinks and food served by a great waitress, Kristy. Will come again.

Stopped here to watch NFL playoffs with the family. Have been here many times over with good reason- the food is just what I'm looking for in Florida casual style, drinks are fairly priced and tasty and service is always incredibly friendly. In our case today Kristy took great care us down to every last detail of our visit. Fantastic... More

You have to see the twins at the Salty Rim. Best food on the intercoastal. Go for the sunset and the rum runners.

With all the seafood spots in the area, it's tough to stand out in the crowd. Stopped in for an afternoon lunch on a Friday and found a surprisingly good range of menu options, great service (Chelcie was very helpful) and excellent food quality and portion size. Prices were reasonable and drink specials were a good deal. Looks like a... More

Had the chimichurri hanger steak with yucca and sweet green beans and my hubby had the tequila lime tacos and they were awesome. Great location right on the water and Kristy was a great server. Check it out if you are in or near St Pete Beach!

Great restaurant and service by Chelcie. Grouper was fantastic. Love the rum runner drink and the key lime pie. Great drink specials for happy hour.

Food and presentation was excellent. Chelsea was great! We didn't have change so she offered to take care of it. We will definitely be back.

The food was very poor, the bar staff was slow and not very interested in serving us or others with any kind of energy. I have gone twice and I won't go back. Shame, its in a nice location.
