Description: For everyone who loves redemptive powers of the sea and the sensual tastes...
For everyone who loves redemptive powers of the sea and the sensual tastes of the very freshest foods and great drinks, the cure is indeed here: St. Pete Beach’s most festive dining experience, The Salty Rim Grill. The Salty Rim is something from the imagination of an old Florida dreamer or Buffet song. the fresh food is influenced by the great tastes of the Caribbean, Florida Keys and places that rim the Gulf of Mexico. But it’s even more than that, The Salty Rim is a state of mind; the nearest faraway place that the fun loving people of Tampa Bay can escape to… and please when you enter, be sure to check your worries at the door.

Great Seafood Conch Chowder

Went here for dinner on 5/18/15 the chowder was a mouthful of spicy deliciousness. I had the cajun pasta also. My friend and I stayed for free trivia they have on Monday nights at 7pm. Dj Dan is the host and does a fantastic job engaging the crowd. Fun place.

Joel, the manager was so friendly and helpful when we relocated to St. Pete Beach last Oct. Since that time, we have frequented the Salty Rim often....as it is our favorite restaurant and bar in the area. Thanks to all the staff for taking great care of us!

We live 2 blocks from here and its an amazing place! Even if we weren't locals, this would be our favorite bar/restaurant. Joel, Emily, Chelsea, Bridgette, Mike, etc. are all the best. Great food....great service....and COLD beer!!

Just happened to drop by the Salty rim Friday evening. I was very happy with the excellent ,attentive service we received from our server/bartender "Christopher" .he served us the best rum runners we've had in a long time. Very tasty black n blue burgers too!!! Keep the good thing going ... Christopher is a keeper.

Visited the Salty Rim Grill for a late night snack and drinks. Emily was a burst of sunshine from the moment we walked in. She took care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. She even introduced me to a loaded Corona. Can you say yum?! lol The grouper bites and shrimp were fresh and the beers... More

I had the Andouille sausage burrito with seasoned potatoes. It was really flavorful and plenty to eat. I then had the shrimp and grits to go for lunch and they were also really good.

The only negative thing I have to say about this place is that it closed earlier than advertised. However, when we arrived around 10pm on a Wednesday night right after they had already closed things down (when we needed a late meal), they brought us a menu and asked us to order whatever we liked. We had already been turned... More
