Description: For everyone who loves redemptive powers of the sea and the sensual tastes...
For everyone who loves redemptive powers of the sea and the sensual tastes of the very freshest foods and great drinks, the cure is indeed here: St. Pete Beach’s most festive dining experience, The Salty Rim Grill. The Salty Rim is something from the imagination of an old Florida dreamer or Buffet song. the fresh food is influenced by the great tastes of the Caribbean, Florida Keys and places that rim the Gulf of Mexico. But it’s even more than that, The Salty Rim is a state of mind; the nearest faraway place that the fun loving people of Tampa Bay can escape to… and please when you enter, be sure to check your worries at the door.

What a pleasant surprise!

I had a groupon so we tried this place. What a pleasant surpise we got. It was overlooking the water, had a key west atmosphere and great music (live band). The service was wonderful, just a fun experience all the way around. My only complait was the chairs were not real comfortable. Kristy... read more

Hadn't been to this restaurant since it was Mulligan's years ago but stopped by for lunch this week and were pleasantly surprised. Greeted by manager Joel who is so polite, professional and really makes you feel at home that we thought he was the owner! Drinks were good and food delicious. Great menu with lots to choose from. Had Conch... More

This restaurant is located in the corner of a strip mall but the outside seating is on the inter coastal waterway. We saw an osprey pluck a large fish out of the water. The food was as amazing as that sight. The fish tacos was the best my husband has had in Florida. I had the Big Kahuna Tuna. The... More

First impression didn't start off good, and that is with the hostess either she gets trained properly, or find someone else she could've cost you from losing out on a party of 9 who decided to ignore her comments about short on cooks and wait time was 20-30 min even though there was more than enough room for us to... My husband and I went for breakfast last Saturday. He ordered french toast and they did not have any butter for it. I ordered eggs, bacon, seasoned potatoes and English muffin. Seasoned potatoes to me are seasoned with seasoning but these just had peppers and onions. Once again, no butter or jam or jelly for English muffin. Food tasted ok... More

We arrived famished (10pm) praying the kitchen was still open and our prayers were answered immediately with Pina Colada shrimp (an amazing twist on coconut shrimp) and well poured cocktails. Our Bar Tender/ Server Emily provided us with excellent recommendations for our meal (Seared Ahi and Grouper) as well as witty conversation. The kitchen created for us an amazing meal... More

I love this place. It's on the water and in a strip mall, you can sit in or out. There's a bar in and out as well. Food is great, beer and drinks are cold. Friendly service! Ohhhh and dogs are welcome outside! I think I'm a regular now!!!

Chantal was our server and recommended Aha Tuna sandwich for my wife. She loved it. The seasoned fries were excellent. Crisp and tasty. I had the daily special sandwich. Two thumbs up. We will return.
