BEST margaritas on the island and the food is made with love by the wonderful chef George that stopped by our table tonight to say hello. The junk seafood dish is by far the most amazing thing I've had!!

What a great beach dinner! We had a yummy dinner, with lots of options, and our service was spectacular! The waitress was very sweet and the head chef visited our table to further explain the menu. We were very pleased and will definitely return when we come back to St. Pete's Beach.

Had not been to this restaurant in awhile and was pleasantly surprised at the new décor- atmosphere and the excellent food choices. Choices are one thing but tasting as good as described on the menu can be a whole other thing...not here! The new Chef has married tropical easy food with style and they are delish! The conch fritters were... More

Having not been to the St pete area for a couple of years we were glad to see this waterfront restaurant re-opened. However our giddy expectations of this establishment were short lived. I've had more fun in a funeral director's when we played hoopla with the wreaths. The bar area here was like everywhere else, large screen TV's on silent,... More

Beautiful views, ok food. Bong bong shrimp was delish, but the captains platter and black and blue burger were not that great. Would not return.

We went here after seeing it advertised in a local rag. It was practically empty and every dish was loaded with sugar and the draft beer was flat. Disappointing to say the least

The last time I was there the food was good as there is a new chef. They just built a big new bar on the back porch where you can see the bridge and coastal waterway.

Showed up on a Sunday about 6:30, place was pretty empty . Our waitress had zero personality, and took forever to bring the napkins and kids milk I asked for. As a matter of fact, I had to ask another waitress for it before it actually came. Food came out Quesadilla had a chicken bone in it ! And it... More

We arrived here after stopping at a beach bar type place; needless to say, we were starving! We were seated out on the deck immediately. There were already quite a few patrons both inside and outside and an acoustic guitarist was performing. The sun was shining, the view of the water was beautiful and a storm was rolling in. Overall... More

I originally reviewed the Salty Rim in April 2012 and we loved it! We especially loved dessert. We went back this past April and had a terrible experience. The restaurant seemed very dirty (my shirt stuck to the table) and the staff seemed uninterested in working. I ordered a cheese burger that tasted like a dirty fryer - it was... More
