Description: For everyone who loves redemptive powers of the sea and the sensual tastes...
For everyone who loves redemptive powers of the sea and the sensual tastes of the very freshest foods and great drinks, the cure is indeed here: St. Pete Beach’s most festive dining experience, The Salty Rim Grill. The Salty Rim is something from the imagination of an old Florida dreamer or Buffet song. the fresh food is influenced by the great tastes of the Caribbean, Florida Keys and places that rim the Gulf of Mexico. But it’s even more than that, The Salty Rim is a state of mind; the nearest faraway place that the fun loving people of Tampa Bay can escape to… and please when you enter, be sure to check your worries at the door.

Friends wanted to meet here to watch sports but we enjoyed our food, live music and the game on TV. My only complaint was a bartender who told me he didn't like to make the drink I ordered, and the one he ended up making was the worse Cosmo ever - how do you mess up a Cosmo? Plus a... More

Great place to sit outside and enjoy the view - even better when they have live music! Sangrias are to die for! Food is pretty good, but not the best. If you atmosphere, good dolphin watching and a wahoo sangria you should go take a look!

Visited with family to take advantage of the Tuesday daily special of tacos. The server was excellent, very attentive and right on top of the business. The food however, left a lot to be desired. The tacos were cold, there was no sauce on them and the fish taco was undercooked. The beef taco was greasy which made the taco... More

4 of us had dinner & drinks on Saturday night at about 8pm. There were plenty of tables available & no wait which concerned us until we got our food...wow! We each ordered a different dish & asked for small plates so we could share & taste each dish. We were all blown away that every dish was amazing and... More

After reading other reviews on the Salty Rim my husband and I decided to give it a try while in the area overnight. We were not disappointed. We ended up overeating because everything we ordered was yummy! It has a fun atmosphere. Our waitress, Chelcie, was very good. She noticed that we did not like the Florida version of coleslaw... Place was nice. Ordered a happy hour drink. Saw the menu and left because it was so expensive. Might be good but couldn't afford to find out

My husband and I were looking for a place to stop after riding our bikes for over 50 miles. We picked the Salty Rim Grill because we could sit outside, overlook the water, listen to some Caribbean music, and have a filling lunch. All was accomplished. Our hamburgers were delicious, service friendly, price reasonable and atmosphere the best. We will... More
