Description: For everyone who loves redemptive powers of the sea and the sensual tastes...
For everyone who loves redemptive powers of the sea and the sensual tastes of the very freshest foods and great drinks, the cure is indeed here: St. Pete Beach’s most festive dining experience, The Salty Rim Grill. The Salty Rim is something from the imagination of an old Florida dreamer or Buffet song. the fresh food is influenced by the great tastes of the Caribbean, Florida Keys and places that rim the Gulf of Mexico. But it’s even more than that, The Salty Rim is a state of mind; the nearest faraway place that the fun loving people of Tampa Bay can escape to… and please when you enter, be sure to check your worries at the door.

Good food

Good food. Could have had a little more per portion, but still sufficient. Good atmosphere, good service, good price.

We visited after reading all the great reviews on a Saturday evening. We sat inside which had maybe one other table seated. Drinks were good. Food including kids menu items, captains platter and grouper sandwich were all subpar. None of the seafood seemed fresh and rather previously frozen.

The worst seafood I've had in a very long time. Over traded and cold or dried out and cold. Those are your choices.

Ricks Reef is just a bar/diner on the corner but it has great food and a real cool atmosphere. The fried shrimp were awesome and the lobster roll is really good. Dont be put off by the looks of the building from the outside. Really good food and great staff!

Although from the outside it looks like a typical beach bar, the food is much better than that. My shrimp po boy was very authentic including pickles and remaloude. My sister had the chicken and waffles done in an island style which raved about. And Christy the server could not have been mor helpful!

Nice servers, the Shrimp Cocktail they make is awesome. My Grouper sandwich was excellent but they kept getting my wife fish tacos wrong. They graciously took them of the bill and we didn't even ask them to do that.

I went to The Salty Rim Grill on a wim with four friends. Lisa approached us as the server and gave exceptional service. She made sure we were always satisfied with our drinks and gave great recommendations on food. We had the Chimichurri Grilled Hanger Steak, Ropa Vieja De Abuela and the Cajun Chicken Pasta which were all phenomenal. If... More

First time visiting The Salty Rim. The food was extremely good, resonantly priced and our service was even better. Our waitress (Lisa) made some great menu recommendations and was very attentive to our table. At one point someone at our table ordered a drink that was mediocre. Instead of making us drink what we ordered, she immediately recognized the situation... More
