For everyone who loves redemptive powers of the sea and the sensual tastes of the very freshest foods and great drinks, the cure is indeed here: St. Pete Beach’s most festive dining experience, The Salty Rim Grill. The Salty Rim is something from the imagination of an old Florida dreamer or Buffet song. the fresh food is influenced by the great tastes of the Caribbean, Florida Keys and places that rim the Gulf of Mexico. But it’s even more than that, The Salty Rim is a state of mind; the nearest faraway place that the fun loving people of Tampa Bay can escape to… and please when you enter, be sure to check your worries at the door.

Nice lunch on the outdoor patio

Stopped here after arriving in Tampa, on way to Treasure Island. Had a beer and mojito, which were tasty, and the chicken and waffles and jamaican fish and chips. Good service, and nice to be able to sit outside but under cover. Recommend for lunch.

The Salty Rim is a great place to eat. The outdoor seating is my favorite. The staff is friendly, too. I'm a very fussy person when it comes to food and they get it right every time! Justin is very accommodating and attentive. I recommend asking for Justin to serve you when you visit this restaurant. The specials are priced... More

We wanted to try this restaurant because we mistakenly believed it had been on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. For us, this was a good mistake. Our lunch choices were tasty, especially the Santa Fe grilled chicken sandwich with fries. However, our dessert was fantastic. We had the Oreo beignets. Yummy! We are joking when we tell everyone we think it... More

My boyfriend and I had never visited before. Tucked in the back corner of the plaza we drove right passed(probably didn't help that we were gabbing the whole drive). I ordered a glass of Sangria as I usually do. It was good but really packed a wallop. It was a good thing I wasn't driving. Our server Stephanie recommended the... More

Our host; Joel was wonderful! Food was great! Stopped in the middle of lunch and dinnertime. We were the only ones there and were treated as royalty!

Family of nine went here and it just just OK. It is a bar with food. Some of ordered the lemon-peppered chicken with roasted smashed potatoes. Potatoes were chunks of red potatoes and somehow they were brown completely through. Tasted ok but we were all expecting smashed or mashed. Some of the little chicken filets were tough to chew also.... More

After years of driving past this restaurant we finally decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised at how great the food was! Even our (picky) kids enjoyed it. Portions are big and prices are reasonable. Chelcie was our server and she was fabulous. Looking forward to many more meals!

The Salty Rim Grill is just that, a little salty, a little rough around the edges. It sits right on a small marina, and looks more like a bar than anything. Indoor and outdoor seating options mean it could be great in all weather, and there's a bar in both seating areas. Being a bar, I didn't think I'd like... More

We went for a dinner around 8pm. Our service was terrible. We waited to be seated, waited 20 minutes for drinks, and the food was definitely not worth the price we paid. Won't be back again.

The Salty Rim is a gem of a restaurant that is tucked back into the corner of a small strip center on the west side of one of the busier north / south streets in St. Pete Beach, FL, but it's well worth your effort to find it because you're sure to enjoy a great meal and excellent service in...
