Description: For everyone who loves redemptive powers of the sea and the sensual tastes...
For everyone who loves redemptive powers of the sea and the sensual tastes of the very freshest foods and great drinks, the cure is indeed here: St. Pete Beach’s most festive dining experience, The Salty Rim Grill. The Salty Rim is something from the imagination of an old Florida dreamer or Buffet song. the fresh food is influenced by the great tastes of the Caribbean, Florida Keys and places that rim the Gulf of Mexico. But it’s even more than that, The Salty Rim is a state of mind; the nearest faraway place that the fun loving people of Tampa Bay can escape to… and please when you enter, be sure to check your worries at the door.

We stayed in St. Petersburg for a month and found the Salty Rim bar early in our stay. We returned 3 times because of excellent food, great inland water view from outside bar and good entertainment on the week-ends. What made our visits most enjoyable was the great service with a special call out to Kristy who was exceptionally friendly... More

Glad I did because it was not only a good restaurant with great food, but what a fun place with an island flavor. I sat at the outside tiki bar where my bartender Emily had me in stiches most of... I wanted a Shrimp Quesadilla but they only had Chicken on the menu. Our waitress Chelsea said they would fix me a shrimp one and it was WONDERFUL. Best Quesadilla I have had in a long time. We had a large party and ordered a ton of appetizers before the meal and they were all very good. Worth the wait... More
