Description: For everyone who loves redemptive powers of the sea and the sensual tastes of the very freshest foods and great drinks, the cure is indeed here: St. Pete Beach’s most festive dining experience, The Salty Rim Grill. The Salty Rim is something from the imagination of an old Florida dreamer or Buffet song. the fresh food is influenced by the great tastes of the Caribbean, Florida Keys and places that rim the Gulf of Mexico. But it’s even more than that, The Salty Rim is a state of mind; the nearest faraway place that the fun loving people of Tampa Bay can escape to… and please when you enter, be sure to check your worries at the door.

I enjoy sitting on the outdoor deck and looking at the water with a burger and a beer for lunch. The service is spotty since it seems they have a large turnover of their staff. The beer selection is very good with many craft beers.

We stumbled on the Salty Rim while touring around on a bright sunny day, being from Syracuse we wanted o have a relaxing drink with a view, we found that at the Salty Rim, we were greeted and served by a spry young bartender/travel adviser named Emily, she served great drinks, the appetizers were delicious and she gave us some... Excellent location and fabulous grouper sandwiches. Right on water with just enough shady spots to allow you to sit a spell. Burgers rock too. Stop on for a rum runner as well.

Came here on a groupon, never would have found it otherwise as there are so many restaurants and bars on Gulf Blvd. Nice to sit out in the back bar area overlooking the waterway. Food was so yummy, we had wings first, saucy full of flavor, came with an amazing slaw, nice and crunchy. The fish tacos were great, so... More

It has been a few months since I have stopped by and nothing has changed. My friends and I sat at the outside bar, Emily was our bartender, and she is so nice, and personal. She recommended the best items on the menu! The Bong Bong shrimp is to die for! Drinks were a little pricey but very good. We... More

This waterfront spot is a little tricky to find unless you are arriving by boat. It's in a small strip mall with no storefront apparent from the parking lot. You enter through a passageway at the junction of two arms of the mall. Once you walk through, however, you are greeted by a very pleasant waterfront seating area (and an... More

While out on St.Pete beach this weekend my friends and I found the Salty Rim. Had a blast, it was their Halloween party so the entire staff was in costume. Good drink specials and eye candy kept us there much later than we had planned on. Honestly the food was what really surprised me, the menu had a nice mix... More

We stopped in early, on our way to the airport after buying the living social deal. Met Emily (awesome bartender!), checked out the view (nice!), and ordered the crab cakes (amazing!!). We had a wonderful time, it was early in the day - cold beer, great view, friendly employees! We will definitely be back - wish we could have stayed... More

We happened to stumble upon this place. The food was delicious. The Crab Cakes were the best I've ever eaten. The service was good. I would eat here again.
