Coffee in Paradise

We love this place, they serve the best coffee around the beach area. Been there so many times this holiday, as a couple and with friends. We enjoy listening to Carl the local piano player who just moved from Billy's on the weekends to this place. We have visited 3 times with fairly consistent results. Either the exhaust fan for the centrally located kitchen does not work or the cook burns everything and fills the place with smoke. The staff appears to try to be accommodating,... More

An evening of six friends, six different palates, from vegetarian to rib lover... yet Chill delivered. Ever had rutabaga fries? Watermelon salad? Stuffed squash? All that and more.... It's a must try kind of place and I think I speak for all of us when I say, yummy, yummy, yummy! Happy tummy, tummy, tummy!!!

The only place we eat breakfast every year. The food is great and plentiful and always fresh and quickly prepared by expert chefs. We have be coming here for years and we look forward to our visits as a main part of our vacation. The staff are awesome. Always attentive and willing to make every meal an unforgettable experience. They... More

We enjoyed our first breakfast so much we returned two days later for a second. Fresh, interesting food. My husband had Mediterranean Scramble with shrimp and I had jumbo lump crab cake Benedict. Excellent coffee, too.

I was excited to take friends to lunch after reading the new revamped menu. The impression is given that they actually care about putting out a good product and providing good service but the experience shows otherwise. We were greeted by an obviously disinterested and bored server who seemed put out by our presence. They were out of the falafel... More

I was a little apprehensive when walking up to the building wondering how this little place could have such good reviews. I am glad I listened to my fellow Yelpers and continued inside because the food experience was remarkable! The restaurant outside is deceptive as to the food that you'll experience inside; the interior has dark wood booths, three chef's... More

Went for an early lunch after discovering that Jackie's on Corey is closed on Tuesday. Great menu -- really nice alternative to all the seafood shacks in the area. Was torn between the shrimp & grits and fried green tomato BLT. Went for the grits. They were pretty good though certainly not the best I've had (which were in Charleston... More
