I remember my very 1st time at Dockside Dave's when it was just a little bar/food counter at the marina with awesome food. Then it became "discovered" and then the ride to the top as the best beach bar/restaurant for fresh sea food, waffle fries and good cold beer . Well like with most restaurants this doesn't last for ever.... More

Really enjoyed the grouper, shrimp, and basically everything we ate. The service, however, could have been better. So close to 5 stars, but...

Really good food, KILLER onion rings and the nicest folks run this place. Grouper was very tasty and the portions could easily be split, they are huge - a must do!

We always enjoy the grouper sandwiches at Dockside Dave's. You can order the sandwich or dinner grouper in seven different ways. We usually get the grouper prepared as char grilled but last time I tried lemon peppered grilled and loved that as well. We don't personally care for fish that is fried or blackened, but other people we know like... More

The grouper sandwich was recommended local and we found that it was delicious. Five choices on how it is prepared. We tired the beer battered and lightly blackened. The servings are a good sizes portion. Will go back for sure to try other offerings. We went for an early lunch with friends and were the first there.

You might have to wait for a table and then wait for your food but it's worth it. The burgers are big and to die for. The waffle fries and onion rings are the best. The seafood chowder is great, very thick and so so good. The seafood platters are very reasonable and delicious. You can't be the price and... More

Recommended to us as some of the best grouper on the island, and I would have to agree. Get grouper cooked any way you like, and the onion rings, they're the real deal! Beer-battered, huge, and served hot! Typical kitchy FL decor and delicious homemade key lime pie with a chocolate crust...delicious!

Dockside Dave's is not really dockside but go anyway. It is an easygoing place with very casual indoor decor and a friendly, helpful staff. My wife and I enjoyed the blackened grouper sandwiches at several different restaurants in the area on this trip and this is where we found the very best. The seafood gumbo was superb, also, but I...
