Honky tonk with overpriced food

If you like live music and dancing this is the place on St. George Island to be. Do your stomach and your wallet a favor and take the time to drive into Apalachicola for your dinner. Everything on the island costs 50% more and is lower quality.

I was hesitant after reading all the reviews but needed to eat on the island due to time. Our group was pleasantly surprised. To start with the drinks were cheap and good. We got three appetizers and they came out super fast and were really tasty. Two of us got the tacos which were great. I really liked the spicy... More

Went on karaoke night. Had appetizers and drinks. Open the latest of any place on the island. (past 10 PM) Wings were good as were the taco special. Bring bug spray as the mosquitos were horrible outside!

My family of 4 met friends there for dinner. Keep in mind, this is before 7 pm and we had children with us. They offered to sit us outside with no waiting, and now we know why there was no waiting. The one man band playing must have thought he was playing at a concert venue! He was so extremely... More

Turns into a loud drunk fest after 9. Waitress served us crab legs and said she didn't have any crackers. How do we get the meat out?? Seriously. Been here a few years and every once in a while it might be OK but just another disappointment. Save your money and go somewhere else!

We were visiting St. George Island the week of June 6-13. We ate at Harry A's three times for dinner. We prefer to arrive no later than 6pm as after that it can get pretty loud (live band at outside area). I had the Yellow Fin Tuna (twice) and it was awesome. The nacho's (listed on menu as an appetizer)... More

On a preplanned dayttrip the St George we decided on dinner before departing. Our first location had a 45 minute wait and we decided to try other island fare.... A bar restaurant within sight of the back and bridge. The decode was island appropriate with guitars, old license tags and rusty signs everywhere... A live band played outside with southern... More

I stopped in for a late lunch while at St. George for a week. I had the dragon shrimp tacos. It came with 3 tacos and one side. The shrimp were good and the asian cilantro slaw was delicious. They have a good variety of bottled and draft beer for reasonable price as well as mixed drinks. I had the... More

We bombarded Harry A's as a huge family with 4 noisy toddlers and they welcomed us as if it were no trouble. Atmosphere was relaxed. Appetizers were great! Drinks were good. Service was great. Food was very very good, especially the cheese grits! And the key lime pie was wonderful! I'll make sure to visit here again if we are... More

Just had a really tasty shrimp po boy with a crispy cold salad. My honey had the BBQ pork sammie with yummy baked beans that had real pork chunks in them. Place seemed iffy at first but our server- Cathy I think her name was- was really sweet girl. Think she was fairly new but nice fast and on top... More
