Not busy, but good.

We were the first people in for dinner at about 5 pm. Had a dozen raw oysters that were perfect, then BBQ sausage with fried okra a Brunswick stew. Son had pulled pork and chicken, father-in-law had pulled beef with fries and my wife had pulled pork with southern potato salad and baked beans... read more

Had the pork with 2 sides...husband had the beef sandwich. Both good. Fried okra was pretty greasy, but the baked beans were good. Would go back.

The breakfast was a perfect amount on our plate. It was great to leave the restaurant feeling not too full, but just right and ready for another wonderful relaxing day on the island.

Great Place to eat breakfast! My server was so sweet and nice. I don't recall her name, Ashley I think? Anyways wonderful atmosphere and the food was very good. A little overpriced but what do you expect from a Restraunt on a beach! I Will definitely be back!

We ate there several times during our week stay there. The gumbo was good and by wife had the ribs and BBQ beef and said it was very good. I also ate breakfast there a couple of times. Breakfast was good but a bit pricey for the quantity of food. One piece of sausage and one slice of toast (I... More

We always have the best oysters here, it's our usual. Today we tried the soup. Best potato soup ever! My husband has the Brunswick Stew and enjoyed it. Good service. It's a favorite for breakfast.

HIghly recommend this restaurant; food was prepared well, served hot. Our servers were friendly and attentive. We also noticed how clean the restaurant was, very much appreciated! We sat in an outdoor, screened in area that was casual, but pleasant.

This was our second visit to St George and we not gone to The Beach Pit thinking it was just another barbeque joint. We tried it this visit and return 2 more times. The fried shrimp was wonderful and there were lots of choices of sides besides the boring fries and slaw. Their breakfast is all very good.

Staff was super sweet and food was good. I was sad they didn't have real cream but the coffee was so good it turned out to be ok.
