As the title says, this is a bar, not a restaurant. We had gumbo, nachos, and oysters. All of them were pretty gross. The nachos look like they were made with Tostitos and melted Velveeta. The gumbo is watered-down tomato soup with a few bits floating in it. If I ever want to remember what the taste of failure is,... More

Our first visit to Eddy Teach's was seven or eight years ago when it was just a wee bit down the street, back in the days when there was NO indoor seating, just picnic tables on the sand and an open bar with these funny bags of water with pennies at the bottom hanging over it (to deter flies by... I went for lunch with my kids in tow and there was maybe 4 other couples at the restaurant. From the time we sat down till the time someone took our drink order was 10 minutes then another 5 min to receive the drinks and then we didn't see the server again until I got up and tracked them down.... Went to Eddie's for lunch. Only had oysters and beer but all was great. Service is good and the Manager was very friendly. Very casual place, but is one of the beauties of SGI.

We had a party of 11 with 3 small kids (7 and 9 years old) - they pointed us to a picnic table that would seat 8 maximum that was directly in front of the band with deafening music. We looked around for a server/employee and finally found one. She took a look at us and said there was no... More

We had 2 orders seafood nachos, 2 sandwiches couple hot dogs, 1 pizza and a few drinks $140!! Few people sat down ordered and left before... More

We were there for twenty minutes after ordering a dozen raw oysters. How long could it take to put 12 oysters on a platter? Plus, the oysters were high -- specialty oysters at $17 and above for a dozen. After said twenty minutes, the kids were complaining, so we decided to leave. No one apologized, either. The only good thing... More

We have been going to Teaches for years and it has been getting more and more expensive and the service worse and worse. We waited for almost 45 minutes last night for a plate of terrible nachos, supposed to be one if he easier of dishes to prepare. We love the bar and hope get get their act together soon
