We were there for twenty minutes after ordering a dozen raw oysters. How long could it take to put 12 oysters on a platter? Plus, the oysters were high -- specialty oysters at $17 and above for a dozen. After said twenty minutes, the kids were complaining, so we decided to leave. No one apologized, either. The only good thing... More

We have been going to Teaches for years and it has been getting more and more expensive and the service worse and worse. We waited for almost 45 minutes last night for a plate of terrible nachos, supposed to be one if he easier of dishes to prepare. We love the bar and hope get get their act together soon

Went there last night. Didn't eat just went for the band and drinks. Good quick service. At bit high on prices (food prices were a bit higher than others on the island). Band was good, closes to early (10 PM) for those wanting a bit more. Bigest pluse is that it is dog friendly. Our golden had a great time,... More

Went her first night after a 2 day drive from Chicago. We are not oyster fans but figured we could get other food. Chicken finger, nachos and philly cheese steak are not their specialty. I am sure they do oysters well. Wasn't impressed with the rest of the menu or value.

We love the fun atmosphere and music at Eddy Teach's, as well as the fact that your dogs can come. If there was a 3 1/2 star rating, I think that is what I would go with, so I rounded up to 4. We are long time/fairly frequent SGI visitors and enjoy the casual ambiance, and they have a huge... More

No trip to SGI is complete without a trip to Eddy Teach's! I had read previous reviews so I went in not expecting a 5 star restaurant, but a cool place to hang and eat oysters. Well, I wasn't disappointed. Seating is outside on picnic tables or on stools at a bar area. There was also live music. I went... More

Went here for dinner last night. There was live music which was the only good thing about the place and why I rated the atmosphere at a 4. The food was bland, everyone at my table agreed. The service wasn't that great, took forever to get a check and then when we asked the waitress for it, it was another... More

We have been going to SGI for years but never visited Eddie Teach's Raw Bar. Decided to give it a try on Wed, trivia night. The place was packed but our family enjoyed the night. Service was slow and locals definitely have the edge with wait staff.

Good oysters I had a shrimp po boy, it was ok , a little disappointed to only have six shrimp on it. Service was ok but certainly less than friendly and helpful. They put sauces on the table and did not explain what they were. We had to flag someone down to find out what the mystery sauce was (looked... More
