Serving the best scoops on the beach, Aunt Ebby's is a favorite for both locals and visitors. You can eat inside where its cool, or outside on the deck with a view of the Gulf of Mexico. Either way, you'll enjoy great music, delicious ice cream and the friendliest service in town.

Still good but things have changed.

This is still a fun outing for ice cream however without the Haggen-Daz brand it is not the same. Do not know why they no longer carry it but it was not available on this years visit. I know the new owner is really working hard and the portions are very generous but I miss the outstanding quality... read more

A little pricey but you get what you paid for! The ice cream is delicious, a cute little place to the left of the famous light house! The location could be better, it's at the opposite side of the island as the plantation!

Ice cream, shakes and with a smile. One thing I hope never changes at St George....Aunt Ebby's. Sure to satisfy that sweet tooth.

Very nice people behind the counter, delicious chocolate shake, even offered to bring our dogs a taste of ice cream while we sat outside and enjoyed our shakes. Went every day we were on the island.

Aunt Ebby's is a staple on St. George Island. We've have enjoyed their ice cream for the last 8 years. We were a little worried when we found out the place had been sold but we were not disappointed after checking out the new ownership. They made some cosmetic changes but the ice cream and ambience were as great as... More

Recently the small quiet island has started to take off and become a much more developed and popular destination. New shops and businesses have come onto the island including some newer ice cream spots. For the purists and traditionalist however, nothing beats the classic stop for some ice cream from Aunt Ebby's. Anyone on the island can tell you that... More

There isn't anything particularly special about the place, but the ice cream is good and the staff were friendly. We had a good time, and it was quite busy on Thursday night. We would go back again.

I cannot understand how Aunt Ebby's takes the #1 spot on St. George Island while serving ice cream found in most every grocery and convenience store in the area. From all the positive reviews I expected homemade ice cream to be offered. Their sign shows Blue Bell and Haagen Daz ice cream for sale but I only saw Blue Bell... More
