Description: Hailing from the vibrant city of Naples, Paolo Pece is a certified master chef by the Italian Culinary Institute located in that ancient city. Chef Pece completed his training in his brother’s bistro during a two-year apprenticeship working under a European master chef before moving to New York City. There he worked as a sous chef in Al Bacio restaurant on the Upper East Side. Before opening his own restaurant in 1999, he served as Executive Chef for Il Ristorante in Chambersburg, Penn. At Cafe Atlantico, food and art provide a sensory feast in Chef Pece’s intimate and elegant contemporary Italian restaurant. The freshest seafood, pork, steak, pasta, poultry, and Italian specialty ingredients are prepared using classical cooking techniques and the menu changes seasonally. House made desserts include authentic tiramisu, panna cotta, and torta caprese; and the wine list features numerous Italian varietals and vintages as well as boutique wines from all over the world.

Very disappointing. Although plenty of tables available, we were seated at a very small table for two; which would have been fine if just stopping by for drinks, but not for dinner. Two waiters tended all the tables. We placed a drink order that never arrived; not until we finally asked the second waiter. The few pieces of French bread... More

We went here last year and had a great experience. This year we brought friends and over-sold the place. The food was still good but the waiter was pretentious and borderline rude. He smilingly told us "I can't understand how people can live in those places" when we told him (after he asked) what the temperatures were in our home... More

Last night was our second time eating here. Miguel is once again awesome! Typically I don't take the time to write reviews like this and can't imagine why anyone would give this place a negative review quite honestly. It's cute, charming, Miguel made us laugh and the food is wonderful. My first impression of these people that give this place... More

We wanted to dine at a restaurant near the Beach Blast-off so we booked a table here for New Year's Eve. We knew it was prix fixe ($50 per person) but we were disappointed that an Italian restaurant did not offer any choices that were traditional Italian. Only two options: fish or beef Wellington. We both had the latter. Food... More

This is NOT an olive garden type restaurant. It is a small, white tablecloth, 1-2employee setting. The menu is limited, but genuin. It is a little pricey, and I wouldn't bring children. We used a restaurant.com coupon which made the meal more affordable. It is a lovely place to enjoy an Italian dinner.

My wife and I dined at this beautiful restaurant while vacationing in St. Augustine Beach. Excellent food and service, A little pricey for the area but worth the cost.

Very stuffy atmosphere. Very pricey for the quality and amount of food served. I will never return to this restaurant. There are too many choices nearby with better food, prices and atmosphere.

Miguel made our night so special. We are in the process of moving here to Anastasia Island. The food was great. One of the cutest finds and we've traveled all over America and Europe. Thanks Miguel, Your new friends from Hilton Head!

This is a small, authentic, intimate Italian restaurant that offers a delicate cuisine reminiscent of the true flavors of Italy. There are plenty of large-scale Italian places around offering 'all you can eat' pasta and family friendly menus. This is not that place - Cafe Atlantico is refined, quiet, providing a cuisine where attention to detail makes you wish you... More
