New changes, higher prices

We've gone to the Beachcomber often for the past 15 years. You could always count on inexpensive fried shrimp, french fries and black-eyed pea salad for about 10 bucks. But now the menu has gone more upscale, and so have the prices. Having said that, it's still a great hole in the wall restaurant... read more

We did not eat a meal here. But my husband and I stopped in for a quick beer and some guacamole and chips. We sat outside at a table by the sand dunes. The guacamole was clearly home made and tasted wonderful. We loved the atmosphere of sitting by the beach while enjoying chips and beer. The only issue with... More

Hidden away at the end of A Street, very little parking, but food is well worth seeking it out. Been several times, everything we've ordered has been delicious, and we will continue to return. Latest visit had the fish tacos, yum.

Friday night was cold and windy. Just locals inside two deep to the bar and locals having dinner at the tables. Steve had an extra soup on special as well a an Asian beef and rice dish . I ordered both. Excellent but too much to Finish. It warmed up and we were back for Sunday lunch. The place was... More

Stopped here after a day on the beach. We ordered a couple appetizers: fried shrimp and chips and pinto beans. They were very good. The patio is awesome, and the view and atmosphere are great!

Heading to the beach we saw this place and decided to stop. Good cold beer and yummy burgers cooked to order. The staff as well as the locals were all very friendly. Seating inside and outside. Several big screen TV's and history on the walls. As much as I go to St Augustine, and now that I have found this... More

We rented a beach house on the ocean on St. Augustine Beach for my 60th birthday for four days. Right next to our beach house was the most adorable little restaurant with great food, nice happy hour and smiling faces. This laid back dining experience is a mix of locals and visitors looking for a pleasant experience and ocean/beach atmosphere.... More

Good Happy Hour with drinks and appetizers. Friendly bartenders and staff. The entrees were good and we will return if we are in the area again.

Been coming here since it was a tiki shack in the 70's and it very seldom dissapoints, but then again a cold beer or drink when the temperatures in the 90's can never be bad. The food is basic but always good. Give it a try when on the beach.

We really enjoyed the changes to this restaurant. It has always been a ok beach restaurant, but it's now a place for locals and tourist to enjoy great food at the foot of the beach. I can't wait for the weather to warm up, so we can enjoy some cold beverages in the sun.
