My companion fron Texas rated the chil rellenos at 8 on a scale of 10-so she was happy. Have not been there for a while. great to see old friends!

Have eaten here numerous times. One thing is always the same, the wonderful family that owns it. Consistently great food at a reasonable price. Especially enjoy the shrimp chimichangas and the burrito nohock.

The family that runs this restaurant are so warm and welcoming-really special. We felt as though we were eating in their home. That being said, I really wanted to like the place as a whole more. I felt the menu was somewhat boring and the food was pretty average. Prices are in line with a tourist area.

Read the reviews of this place and had to give it a try. Food was as good as advertised, authentic, hot and inexpensive. Their Sangria was out of the world. This will be a must do for our next visit to St. Augustine!

Needed a break from seafood so we checked out Cha-cha old and I'm so glad we did! From the warm welcome to the fresh made salsa this place has GREAT food. My wife had the authentic chorizo taco and I had a perfectly cooked steak with garlic shrimp (yes even if I didn't want seafood). Bottom line ... this place... More

I used to come here all the time when I lived on the island a few years ago. The food is always fresh and the service is awesome!! This quaint restaurant is located on the island and I can't believe the amazing food they have. I always order the combination fajitas because it's so hard to choose from an amazing... More

We were looking for a real Mexican place and find this restaurant was a blessing; I'm originally from Mexico and it is definitely a real taste of my country. Seasoning was perfect, attention incredible and prices perfectly affordable. Try the "ceviche" is the best dish Love it!

This small cantina has the best friendly staff, excellent Tex/Mex food and unbelievable service. The owner sometimes will even serenade you with playing the Spanish guitar

I live here in St Augustine so I know a lot of the restaurants. This place is a unique little family run small eatery. Not fancy at all...but sit out in the screened porch and get serenaded by the owner and cooked for and served by the rest of the family. It's an endearing experience. If you are looking for... More

Some Mexican restaurants can provide either bland food or rely on pure heat from peppers... This family run restaurant delivers excellent truly "tasty" Mexican food in a friendly relaxed environment. There's nothing flashy about the place, but its the best Mexican food I've ever tasted, and great value.
