My wife is from Mexico so whenever we visit new location, I try to find the top rated restaurant in the area to try out. Such was the case with this restaurant. The restaurant itself is cozy but far from fancy. Not going to dwell on too many specifics so I'll just date the food. I had the carnitas. Carnitas... More

We love this little joint. The prices are right and the owner will serenade you at your table. The food is fresh and the service is friendly.

This is by far the very best Mexican food in town. My wife and daughter and I enjoy this fine establishment quite frequently. I usually get the burritto which is absolutely delicious ,and my wife always gets the fajitas. Tonight however we decided to try something different and so glad we did. I got a combo of three of the... More

atmosphere is fine but our food was just ordinary tex-mex - after all the great reviews was looking for more - my chile relleno was over breaded and under cooked so breading was soggy - other food was ok but salsa reminded me of canned - guess we either hit a bad day or just not our kind of place

I love this family-owned place! We stopped in one night because another local Mexican restaurant has a Mariachi Band, and that's not our thing (too loud - we want to eat and hear ourselves). What a pleasant surprise this place was! Quiet, excellent food, and the owner will get his guitar our for special ocassions and serenade you! We love... More

We got to our hotel and I checked tripadvisor for local restaurants. We could almost walk to this but drove because we had to go to the store after. There were only a couple other people when we got here but the place was getting more people as we ate. I had the fish tacos. I paid the extra dollar... More

Went here for the first time for lunch on our first day in town. As others have said it's an assuming place which looks like it is a converted house. Nevertheless we really enjoyed the atmosphere here because we felt right at home. But most important, the shrimp Choc-Mool is absolutely delicious. The shrimp is in a spicy chipotle cream... More

Stopped here for some Mexican food and liked the small, nicely decorated and friendly restaurant. My wife ordered the nachos and got a plate full with beef and cheese. I got a combination plate with a soft taco and a burrito with rice and beans. To be honest, I could not tell the taco from the burrito. Both were good... More
