My wife and I went back to St. Augustine where we spent our honeymoon three years ago. She is from Hollywood, Fl. I'm from the Fl. Panhandle. She insisted the last time on having me try Cuban food which I had never eaten but always heard of how great it was. We ate in 2010 at a Cuban Restaurant which... More

I actually worked at Habana Village Cafe many years ago. I made the Cuban sandwiches, and I am not Cuban...Lol! The Pork was fresh cooked in house, but most other items weren't as good as the average Key West sandwich shop! They want out of business!

Wonderful food , wonderful atmosphere, and the night we were there...a wonderful salsa band! The Mojitos were just right, the food spectacular , and the flan as good as my abulea's. Loved it!

Forget colombia and the other high priced wanna bees. This is the best in St. Aug!! Real cuban food made by real cubans! Who could ask for more. Oh yea, real cuban music and cigar shops.! We went to the colombia one night and was told by a customer to check this restaurant out. Wish we would have known about... More

The food is to die for. This is our second trip there and the food just keeps getting better and better. You have a choice of eating with live music or in a seperate dining room. Great service, great food, great price. What more is there to say.

Dinner at Habana is authentic cuban food. The ceviche is amazing. They had music but it was perfect volume while we were eating. After dinner we all started dancing. Wonderful and delightful crowd..

Made a msitake by going to this place last. The service was great and friendly. We had lunch as our last thing to do after being in St. Augustine and going to several restuarants. The waiter made his recommendations with the mojito ranking #1 of all we've ever had. The special was a chipotle chicken and by far proved to... More

Kinda hard to find right off the bat. Was recommended by a kid in one of the shops off of st george. When I got there we were the first to arrive for the night! Wanted something small so we just split a cuban sandwich which was pretty good at best. The highlight of this cafe was the iron soda... More

Being a Cuban American I really do enjoy this place for the music. On my last visit, the food was OK, but then again I may just be spoiled with my Mom's frijoles, ropa vieja and plantains. If you enjoy the Latin scene you will really have fun here. It's something different, but I recommend going as group for even... More

Last night (Which was our first night in St. Augustine) we went to eat at this so called "Cuban" restaurant... IT IS NOT. Our server said the cooks were Mexican(nothing against mexicans) but I would guess that they would have been cubans. The food was really B A D. ordered a chicken noodle soup first at was so salty I... More
