Reminiscent of British pubs on the coasts of Southern England

I really enjoyed this place, it reminded me of family-run pubs in the Isle of Wight and Portsmouth. The owner is actually from the UK (which is nice, because usually that indicates they DO know a thing about UK cuisine, drinks, and tastes.) She was attentive and very friendly. The food is... read more

I was in town for a week about a month ago and had heard from friends about Prince of wales, I decided to stop in for lunch and ordered the fried mushrooms appetizer, one of my favorite things. they tasted like they were frozen. They were very bland, I then ordered the fish and chips. The fish was a good... More

I wanted to like this place because it was a bit of 'home' for us British but apart from the service and friendliness it was something of a let down. Personally I think it needs a rethink as you cannot exist on being a "British Pub in America" alone, the food must reflect as much. We had fish and chips... More

Another port of call, very good fish & chips, as good as the English chippy, barrered burgers or spam, very hard to find in the US, my wife loves the curry and the bangers & mash, good selection of draft beer and patio so our dog Joey a Lakeland Terrier can be with us

Three of us moved to the Prince of Wales after another pub stop, Trish is amazing! My Guinness was perfectly poured and fresh, sat there with her long enough a fourth joined us and we ordered the large fish and chips. Large is an understatement, was enough for two of us and a third to snack on and for a... More

With so many pubs in St Augustine it was hard to choose which one to go to. Well, we chose correctly because the food was great. I had the fish and chips and my husband had the cottage pie ( that may not be the correct name) and we were both very pleased. My fish was some of the best... More

Cozy little British Pub with a friendly and welcoming staff. Great selection of beers. We really wanted to try the food since it looked and smelled great but we had plans elsewhere. Will certainly return. We just hung out for two rounds of beer but it was comfortable and we were not rushed. There is a tiny bar (maybe 4... More

The restaurant itself was very quaint, we sat on the porch to eat lunch It is on a side street away from all the hustle. . Our hostess was very attentive. The prices were a little too high, $8.99 for a basic burger that came with very very salty fries.
