Don't Order the "LARGE"

Unless you are really up to it! The Fish 'n Chips were hot and authentic. And served by an Irish lass with a wonderful lilt from the homeland. And don't forget a "tall, dark blonde" (aka: pint of Guinness) or a Bass Ale. A bit tight inside, we prefer to use the word "cozy". Enjoy yourself, and... read more

Small English pub. All the "English" dishes such as fish and chips are served and some decent beer. Not a bad place for lunch.

What a nice spot to escape the heat of St Augustine! Loved the fried pickles app, fresh and yummy fish n chips, huge house salad and frosty beers. Neat little place tucked away from the hustle and bustle of St George Street.

When we walked in my wife said "What's that strange smell?" "That's the sweet scent of malt vinegar, the traditional condiment for Fish & Chips" Said I. So as a Brit I felt at home. They even had Spotted Dick on the menu.....

We stayed right around the corner from this place and heard the fish and chips were the best. Indeed, they were! My hubby ordered that, and I ate a chicken and mushroom pot pie. It was great! The portion sizes were huge, too. We enjoyed it and would return.

I wanted to give this pub a good rating but there isn't one! There was four of us on the group and we ordered two fish and chips to share. We made a valiant effort to finish our meal but one portion would have been adequate for all four of us so just be aware. Having said that the bar... More

This was our second visit to The Prince of Wales. As previosly, the wait staff are attentive and friendly. The food is wonderful - I keep having cottage pie. It's really fantastic! My husband has had the fish and chip and the bangers and mash and enjoyed both very much. Decent selection of beer. This is a nice place to... More

Some of the best Fish and chips I've ever had. I always come here when I'm in St. Augustine. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Even the smaller portion of the fish and chips is substantial and delicious. I've taken friends and family here and no one has ever been disappointed. The location is very quaint and scenic, right off of Cuna street... More

We had a lovely lunch out on the porch. The fish and chips were wonderful and the small was plenty. The shepards pie looked good and so did ceasar salad with chickan. Nice choice of beer and wine too.

I was in town for a week about a month ago and had heard from friends about Prince of wales, I decided to stop in for lunch and ordered the fried mushrooms appetizer, one of my favorite things. they tasted like they were frozen. They were very bland, I then ordered the fish and chips. The fish was a good... More
