I went on recommendation. The fish was uncooked and the breading was so under cooked that it all made me sick afterwards. I wouldn't recommend nor will I return.

The Prince of Wales has the BEST fish & chips! I lived in the UK for several years when I was growing up, and I would put this up against any "chip shop." Portions were extremely generous and the fish was hot and fresh. The beer battered onion rings are equally as good. The service was fantastic and we enjoyed... More

I visited this place three times during my 4 day stay! Food is excellent. Had the fish and chips, huge helping. Also, had the jack and bleu cheese sticks for an app, very good!

My family and I arrived at this location while searching for a good place for lunch. Although American, I was born and raised in England, so a British pub is something I enjoy from time to time. The food here did not disappoint. Between us all we ordered a chicken pot pie (wife said it was the best she'd had),... More

We stumbled upon The Prince of Wales after finding a coupon in our extremely touristy and cheesy guide from the hotel. Located on Cuna St., off of the very busy pedestrian mall of St. George Street, The Prince of Wales is a quaint little gem of a restaurant housed in an 18th century house. Our waitress was great! I wish... More

Glad we stopped. Totally worth hunting down. The waitress had her dog the evening we went. He was so well behaved. Totally made me have a good feeling about the owners. The food was really good. I've never had this type of food before. The cottage pie was fantastic and the kids loved their fish and chips. Will def return.

Stopped for lunch, had fish n chips. Great dish. Guinness to wash it down was equally delicious! Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Great atmosphere, wonderful seating (we sat on the front porch since the weather was beautiful) My fiance got the fish and chips and I got the Sheperd's Pie both were DELICIOUS. Service was great and the atmosphere was awesome, we even found out that the restaurant has a fun history too!
