Service was excellent, I had a cheeseburger and my companion had the cottage pie and they both were great. The only negative was we found a fly in our beer but besides that I think we would return.

They are known for their beer battered fish and chips and did not disappoint! A small order is more than you can eat. Quaint atmosphere - we ate there twice while in St Augustine.

We always stop in for a yummy order of the best fish & chips. the large order is big enough to split for two. The fried pickles are also a wonderful appetizer. Great staff, nice inside & outside eating areas. Good beer selection.

We wanted to grab a quick lunch in a place with atmosphere and found a real winner. Small and cozy, The Prince of Wales was very English and good. Not wanting to over do it, I had the small order of Fish and Chips. It was more than I could eat and freshly made. The service was quick and friendly.

a lot of road construction in the area, however we stopped by here for lunch, I heard they had good fish and chips, well that's what I ordered, to my surprise it was very big fish which was on point and the chips or fries were very good as well, we found it to be a quaint little place with... More

My husband wanted to try this English place. I wasn't too thrilled. I know the Brit's reputation for great food--they don't have it. So, I ordered the fish and chips; it's what they are known for, right. I was expecting Captain D's or Long John Silver's quality, BUT...what a shock. It was fantastic! I cannot say the same for my... I'll start by staying we really wanted to go to Barley Republic, but they are closed during the day while construction is going on. So we ventured across the street to the Prince of Wales. The drinks were good, and service was friendly. But the food was spotty at best. The deep fried things seem to be done well, so... More

We stop here often. Great staff, whether you get the server that has been there all along or one of the new ones. Some wonderful local artists play here. Food is authentic. Some things you just have to order once just to try. Like the deep fried burger! Can't beat the fish and chips, and of course anywhere that I... More

Just had to go in and try the fish and chips, it was delicious. The only draw back was the service, you had to ask for refills and the server seemed more interested in sitting at one of the tables chatting with another person there. Also no kids menu??
