Best homemade tortilla chips! Food and service is very nice and I understand they might have a liquor license now

We went here after a long morning seeing the sights, and it was a cool, delicious stop. The service was casual but friendly and efficient, and we all devoured our food, even our slightly picky eater. It is right in the middle of the old town area, so easy to reach on foot. I wish they had a restaurant here... More

First we tried La Cocina International and they referred us to la Cocina Mexican, wow what a treat. This Is real Mexican food. The Mexican shrimp salads as delicious, my friends tried the duck dish and also chimichangas. With their sangria, everything was so good that before we finished our stay we had to go back. Jorge was amazing and... More

I've been here many times and it is my favorite Mexican place in St. Augustine. Always delicious and consistent. Only complaint is the prices seem a little high, however you do get a good bit of food for your money, and of course it tastes great which is reason enough for me.

This is the real deal. If you've ever traveled Mexico and love the fresh food you can get along the coast, you'll appreciate La Cocina. Everything is fresh, including the Veracruz style seafood. I'm also a big fan of mole' sauce and theirs is delicious. The guacamole is stellar. We've eaten there twice and so far, everything was wonderful. The... More

If you like traditional Mexican, then this is probably not the place to go. It is Mexican, but has it's own twist. To my liking it was not, but who knows. But you will recogonize the menu, but the flavors are new.

Good service, good food, good prices, good ambiance, ... what's not to like. They are popular for a reason. I had the cheese and onion enchiladas and they were great. Not a super fancy place... just a comfortable homey kind of establishment.

We have returned here each time we visit St. Augustine. It never disappoints. They don't have a liquor license, but their wine margarita is just as good! Anything with pork in it is so tender and flavorful. I highly recommend. I had the Carnitas(Fried Pork Meat) Fried chunks of pork meat served with pico de gallo, rice, Refried beans, and... More
