It's a diner and it's diner food served with gracious service. Food memories great or poor will not be made here. It will be good, fair and fast.

Cute dinner with an authentic feel. Breakfast was expensive and wonderful. The pancakes were the best I've had in a long time. Seems to be where the locals go.

They might not have every Greek dish on their menu that your heart desires, but I assure you that what they do have? They do it phenomenally well. The stuffed grape leaves were the absolute best I have ever had, even better than my grandmother's and she's Syrian, so she knows a thing or two about grape leaves. We also... More

Georgie's doesn't take reservations but ask that you call 30 minutes before you want to arrive and you'll be put on the list. When we arrived they handed us a pager and within 5 minutes we were being seated at a booth with a vast view of the ocean. Perched right above Rye Beach, Georgie's view of the Pacific can't... More

Ate here last night on our way home from touring colleges and were not disappointed. We've been here many times in the past with my in-laws and have never had a bad meal or one that just blew us away. Like with most restaurants, it really depends upon what you order. Last night my daughter had the fish and chips,... More

My family was looking for a quick lunch and we stumbled upon what appeared to be an old diner. id our yelp check and decided to give it a go. So glad we did. The food for 4 (gyro, french toast, wrap, and salad) was fantastic! My gyro was huge and tasty. The service was adequate but the staff was... More

My husband and I ate here the last day of our honeymoon. We were promptly greeted and given our drinks; however, the server forgot our appetizer and blamed it on the kitchen when we clearly heard her say she forgot our appetizer to the kitchen staff. I ordered the fried chicken - it was overdone and clearly recooked. My husband... More

We just happened to pass the diner on the way to our hotel. We stopped in for dinner and had a delicious gyro. The servers were very friendly and prompt. We will go back there again when we are in the area.

We ate here at random the last time we were in St. Augustine. The menu offers a very good selection. Dishes from the children's menu as well as the lunch menu were all good (3 of us ate). The waitresses were all attentive, stopping by often to see how things were going. The restaurant was very clean and envying. We'd... More

I went to Georgie's after Christmas, in January and I will say I was not pleased. The smell inside and outside was horrible, like a nasty dumpster. Inside I ordered the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were rock hard and the gravy was like cement. I wouldn't recommend this place.
