We ate here at random the last time we were in St. Augustine. The menu offers a very good selection. Dishes from the children's menu as well as the lunch menu were all good (3 of us ate). The waitresses were all attentive, stopping by often to see how things were going. The restaurant was very clean and envying. We'd... More

I went to Georgie's after Christmas, in January and I will say I was not pleased. The smell inside and outside was horrible, like a nasty dumpster. Inside I ordered the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were rock hard and the gravy was like cement. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Our family came here for lunch. It's one of our places to visit every time we come to St. Augustine. This time I had the Greek Combo #1. It was delicious and too much food to eat. It had moussaka, pastistio, spinach pie, a stuffed grape leaf and a Greek salad. I got this because I couldn't decide what to... More

First time visiting St Augustine and we were just looking for a decent place to eat when we drive by the retro looking Georgie's Diner. Man the amount of food for the money! A little bit of a wait but we'll worth it. Waitress was extremely nice.

We stopped here for breakfast while on vacation in St. Augustine and were a bit disappointed. The food was typical breakfast fare and nothing to be excited about. The atmosphere was a cute diner with appropriate decorations. Overall, we were not pleased about the food, my wife had to send her hash browns back because they were so burned she... More

Service was really slow. There was only one waitress serving the inside and one serving the outside. The food was good and portions were huge for the price. I could only eat 1/2 of mine and my 11 yr old and 5 yr old shared a meal and still couldn't finish it all. I'm still not sure if I will... More

Pros: pancakes are huge and fluffy; omelet was huge and fluffy. Notice a pattern? Have also eaten lunch here and sandwiches were delicious- fresh ingredients and flavored perfectly. Service is excellent, but the most impressive feature is the cleanliness. Actually observed an employee cleaning the menus with disinfectant. You don't see that kind of attention to detail often. Cons: none... More

A joyful place. Patrons greeted by name. Hugs exchanged. Plenty smiles all around. Food is pretty good diner food. Melissa was terrific! She was attentive, accurate and fast. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable. There is care given to the appearance and cleanliness of the facility.

I must immediately correct the misidentification of Melissa. She is my friend and one of the most professional of all waitresses at Georgie’s Diner. When writing my first three-restaurant review of all of the three Chryssaidis family restaurants, I hurriedly wrote Melanie, rather than Melissa. An unfortunate mistake, because Melissa has been taking care of me for more than 4... More

Only one waiter servicing the diner. Waiting too long for the order. One male employee came from the kitchen with a glass beer bottle in his hand wearing the uniform, sitting outside at the sight of the guest, while taking a break. The waiter being the only attendant in the diner went outside to speak to this male drinking beer,... More
