Fresh Bread

We stopped in because we could smell the fragrance of fresh baked bread on St. George St. It was worth the stop. The carmel and sweet potato turnovers were wonderful. A loaf of fresh bread purchased for sandwichs and toast was great. Fresh and tasty.

This place serves great empanadas and bake stuff!! The chili is really good along with great pastry hot dogs! They have tables for all to sit and enjoy the food from this old time bakery.

We have only gotten rolls and a loaf of bread here- but they were the freshest, lightest, yummiest rolls and bread we have had. After a few days of being stored in Tupperware- the rolls were still fresh.

This a cheap place to eat. Soup (which was good), good roll, cookie, and drink for $6.50. Quick too and nice outside seating area.

Had picadillo, their spicy clam chowder soup of the day, beef empanadas, and a roll. It was all so delicious! The chowder was super spicy ( we had been warned) , the empanadas was filled and had just the right amount of spice and the roll was the lightest we ever had, like eating a cloud! Great food! Busy place!... More

We were a party of 14 and there was plenty of seating for us. We ate the beef and chicken empanadas that were very good. The picadillo and rice is also yummy. We had chicken and rice soup, Serrano ham and cheese sandwich, and chorizo sandwich which were all delicious.

Busy time of year for st augustine. The weather was amazing and the bakery was selling out of everything. I ordered a empanada that they were still baking. I don't know if they tried to rush the order bet the empanada was disappointing. Very doughy and not filled up with meat. Needed a good sauce. My hubby got a sausage... More

We stopped in to grab some breakfast, unsure of what to expect with the name "Spanish Bakery." Upon looking in the case, we knew it wasn't really going to be authentic, at least not with the danishes, but thought we might make it back for lunch for the empanadas (we didn't). We ordered a blueberry danish, a cinnamon roll, and... More
