Hot Sauce Sets Standard for Local Condiment

There is a "thing" in St. Augustine called the datil pepper. I have sampled several locally made sauces based on this eccentric little yellow seed pod. Cheryl keeps it simple with no corn syrup or sugar added to her vegan recipe, even though the heat of the datil lends itself quite well to a sweet... read more

So glad to find a fantastic vegan cafe! Delicious brunch. After we move into our house this summer we'll be back often. Love it when the owner/cook loves her job and takes pride in her cooking.

We knew just from the name we had to try this place. Came by for lunch, had to wait about 10 min for a table. Staff was courteous. Food was delicious. Had the black bean and rice burrito and wife had a chicken pita. We both liked mine better... Will eat here again for sure on our next trip down.

After about a week of family travel, we needed a break from road food. Great choice. Fantastic vegan options, fruit, grits and coffee. A little hard to find, but worth it.

After reading all the great reviews on TripAdvisor, we decided to have breakfast at the Manatee Cafe. We love organic and all natural food, but our breakfast was a big disappointment. The breakfast menu seemed a bit light on organic, natural, or healthy options. The omelet was ok, but was nothing special, same with the French Toast. We love grits... More

Delicious, healthy, organic food. I would eat here daily if I could. Requires patience because this isn't FAST FOOD but 100% worth every minute. Breakfast burrito is a favorite and the salads are top notch. Vegetable juice is fresh and reasonably priced.

One of the best places to go in Saint Augustine for vegan, vegetarian or gluten-free food. The restaurant is nestled away in a small shopping centre, and employs a collection of unique and friendly staff. Breakfast in particular is reasonably priced, and the Tofu Scrambler is deceptively filling.

I visited today for breakfast, picking the cafe only based on reviews, and I'm very happy to did it: menu is simple but full of options and good alternatives. We ordered eggs with toast, hot chocolates, coffees, and a breakfast healthy burrito with eggs, goat cheese, avocado, hummus, sweet potato. I can only say every one of the items was... More

We went to St. Augustine for a medical trip. The doc told us about this place. It was a bit out of our way but well worth it. We went for lunch twice. The food is fresh and organic at prices comparable to everywhere else (full pesticide food). It was as delicious as it looks in the photos. We had... More

Great tasting healthy food. Wonderful for vegans and gluten-free eating. I had the vegi wrap. Was the best tasting wrap I've had that is healthy. Will definitely go back. Good job Manatee Cafe.
