Eat on the Intracoastal Waterway

Cap’s on the Water is right on the Intracoastal Waterway and just a wonderful place to eat and relax. Sit, eat, and watch the kids climb a tree (we waited for a fall) and play on the beach. I ordered the Oyster Rockerfeller, sweet and sour cucumbers, and hush puppies (some of the best I have had... read more

We try to go here every year we visit Ponte Vedra Beach. I say try because this place is busy because it is the best restaurant in PVB or St. Augustine. The food is great. The service is friendly. The atmosphere is the best too. It can be hard to get a table on the weekend so go early if... More

When you put your name in for a table, you MUST let then know that you'll take first available table, inside or out. Otherwise you'll wait 1.5 hours and the person behind you will be offered a table immediately if they say we'll take anything. Not good business.unprofessional.

Very good local caught fish and shrimp!!! But go early it is a very popular place for locals!! Good thing it was nice and cool, in August right after a good rain or we would have never got to try it. It is mostly outside seating.

Started with the watermelon salad, amazing, then had blackened grouper which was delicious. I Didn't have room for dessert which I had hoped to try the key lime pie but just couldn't fit it in. It is more expensive than other seafood restaurants locally but you are paying for and getting an amazing ambiance and view.

A close friend recommended this restaurant! I'm so glad he did. It was worth the drive over the bridge. Located in Vilano Beach across the Intracoastal from St Augustine, this restaurant is truly wonderful! The food was delicious & the frozen drinks were wonderful on a humid afternoon! The prices are average for seafood. The atmosphere is very cool. They... More

Caps is one of my favorite places to go . There is ample parking with valet parking on weekends . You can chose to dine in the 2 air conditioned rooms or sit outside riverside. The view is lovely as you sit under the massive oak trees. Food is a home run whatever you order, and there's quite a variety... More

Nice restaurant on the river, weather permitting the back deck is a fantastic place to enjoy lunch/dinner. Had the lobster appetizer in filo cups which was good but disappointing given the $15 price (no large pieces of lobster was found). For mains my wife and I shared the seared shrimp tacos and lump crab salad which both were very good,... More

For that special evening, I highly recommend this restaurant. You can wear your shorts and flip flops or get dressed up, they are not particular about what you wear. Full liquor bar, excellent food, super service, and friendly folks.

This is a common place for bikers to stop as they make the A1A Sunday drive. That doesn't mean this is a biker bar! Great way to just sit at Oyster Bar, drink the coldest beer on the ICW and waste a whole afternoon. Beautiful view, great snacks, plenty of fans and shade and the oyster bar is first come... More
