Description: Hailing from the vibrant city of Naples, Paolo Pece is a certified master chef by the Italian Culinary Institute located in that ancient city. Chef Pece completed his training in his brother’s bistro during a two-year apprenticeship working under a European master chef before moving to New York City. There he worked as a sous chef in Al Bacio restaurant on the Upper East Side. Before opening his own restaurant in 1999, he served as Executive Chef for Il Ristorante in Chambersburg, Penn. At Cafe Atlantico, food and art provide a sensory feast in Chef Pece’s intimate and elegant contemporary Italian restaurant. The freshest seafood, pork, steak, pasta, poultry, and Italian specialty ingredients are prepared using classical cooking techniques and the menu changes seasonally. House made desserts include authentic tiramisu, panna cotta, and torta caprese; and the wine list features numerous Italian varietals and vintages as well as boutique wines from all over the world.

This is NOT an olive garden type restaurant. It is a small, white tablecloth, 1-2employee setting. The menu is limited, but genuin. It is a little pricey, and I wouldn't bring children. We used a restaurant.com coupon which made the meal more affordable. It is a lovely place to enjoy an Italian dinner.

My wife and I dined at this beautiful restaurant while vacationing in St. Augustine Beach. Excellent food and service, A little pricey for the area but worth the cost.

Very stuffy atmosphere. Very pricey for the quality and amount of food served. I will never return to this restaurant. There are too many choices nearby with better food, prices and atmosphere.

Miguel made our night so special. We are in the process of moving here to Anastasia Island. The food was great. One of the cutest finds and we've traveled all over America and Europe. Thanks Miguel, Your new friends from Hilton Head!

This is a small, authentic, intimate Italian restaurant that offers a delicate cuisine reminiscent of the true flavors of Italy. There are plenty of large-scale Italian places around offering 'all you can eat' pasta and family friendly menus. This is not that place - Cafe Atlantico is refined, quiet, providing a cuisine where attention to detail makes you wish you... More

I went with my girlfriend to Cafè Atlantico for a romantic dinner and we spent a wondreful evening. Everything was perfect, the wine selection is very accurate and the food is delicious, it seemed to me to be back in Italy! I would advise you to take the fried calamari and the salmon. I also remember a relaxed atmosphere and... More

Horrible food, terrible service. The first hint should have been the horrible frozen bread we were served. Next, the dipping oil was not, olive oi, it was rancid and few spices. The Chicken Marsala was missing the Marsala reduction, the chicken was overcooked. We asked for more Marsala reduction and got a watery sauce of wine mixed with melted butter.... More
