Have you watched those "beach" movies and they have that cool resturant there? That is what it feels like when you go to the Beachcomber! Down to earth antld the food is fantastic! I go for the burger and my wife goes for the steamed shrimp! It was great!! Throw in a sand bar for the kids and you'll have... More

The locaton is unique for the area so anytime you can sit at a waited table and see the sea and beach at St. Aug is a bonus. The food is in keeping with the laid back beach cafe style. New owners have jazzed up the menu and presentation a little, but have not lost the flip-flop bathing suit friendliness.... More

I will have to admit that I was sad to hear someone had bought the Beachcomber and changes were coming. We took family there late on a Sunday as we often did. This place has been one of my favorites since moving here 16 years ago. I was shocked and oh so happy to say that the new owners took... More

Where to begin...Read the article in the Record and decided to head over and try the calamari tacos. It was a dreary day but wanted to avoid the crowds. My family of 4 show up and only 3 other tables are seated. Hostess seats us and I ask what is the beer served in the bucket? " she replies, "don't... More

Ate here for a Sunday lunch. Service was great and the location was great, just off the beach. Red Stripes were only $2.50 each. I enjoyed the jerk chicken sandwich! Lunch was $10.95 and included a large sandwich and a side. Will definitely be back!

The view is the best thing about this restaurant. Food is average with average prices. However, combined with the view, it was memorable and will go again.

Sit at outdoor picnic tables with umbrellas, watch the 4x4's drive onto the beach as well as pedestrians with their beach gear. This restaurant is situated immediately next to the dunes with relaxed beach dining at its best. We enjoyed a turkey-avocado wrap with a side of beans/rice plus an iceberg wedge salad with grilled turkey. Both portions were ample.... More

After reading some of the most recent reviews we were not sure what to expect. Beachcomber is definitely a beach restaurant. There are only a few tables inside, most are outside on the deck. We sat inside (thunderstorm brewing outside). They have the usual beach bar beers on draft plus a couple of good ones (Sweetwater 420) and a decent... More

Food was average to good. Atmosphere was more like a beach bar than a restaurant. This particular day there was more wind than desired and a storm on its way in the distance.
