We booked a table several weeks in advance to celebrate our anniversary. We were seated on time at a nice table. However the whole experience was just OK ... food, service, ambiance. Salad was a plate of bib lettuce only. Anniversary went completely unacknowledged. The coupon we had for a dessert which said one coupon per table is interpreted to... More

Stay away from the crepes. The spinach crepe (Florentine) was suppose have creamed spinach - but it just had a huge clump of spinach in a thick crepe. And, for 15 dollars a little sauce would have been expected. And, the fruit side was very ordinary - just like a Denny's. And, the other option was called 'greens', it is... More

La Pavillion offers an interesting mix of American, French and some German cuisine. Their menu offerings were of enough portion and tastily prepared to merit the cost (crepes, quiches, sandwiches, soups, salads.) My quiche had accompanying small sides to make a complete lunch. The bratwurst and sauerkraut sandwich with a side of German potato salad satisfied my husband’s appetite. The... More

We dined here on Christmas day and enjoyed the meal, the service and the ambience. We did not have reservations but went early (5:30) and had no trouble. We were seated in the second-floor dining area which was most comfy.

Le Pavillon is a decades old local establishment. From the 1970s through approximately the 1990s, it was operated by a real French chef, Claude Sinatsch. Now it is run by his wife, daughter, and son-in-law. The current chef does not rival Mr. Sinatsch. I'd eaten lunch here dozens of times over a decade in the late 1990s-early 2000s. The food... More

I went here for Christmas dinner while in St. Augustine. I chose it based on the reviews and is proximity to my hotel. I was sat right away for my meal, which was the best thing I could say about the service. I did arrive when they first opened. I chose the turkey dinner so that I would have leftovers... More

We were in town visiting my in-laws and wanted to have a nice meal together. We had heard that Le Pavillon was a must visit. The sign on the outside of the building gave it a 1970s European vibe, which gave me hope. Between the less than friendly service, the limited menu and final meal... I wasn't totally disappointed, but... More

Placed in wing of restaurant with one waiter. Dinner reservation at 7:00 PM turned into 2 hr. wait, French onion soup was gravy thick with bread sunk to bottom and so congealed it could not be chewed. A big family waited like us and wolfed down $35 rack-of lamb due to hunger pangs; when it arrived after 2 hrs. wait..... More

This restaurant was suggested by the proprietor of an antique shop. The food and service were excellent. Odd combination of French, German and Swiss food, but everything we ate was delicious. Look forward to going back.
