This was right across the street from our hotel. The food was very good and staff were very friendly. German and French cuisine are on the menu.

we were extremely pleased with the location, the atmosphere, the variety of entrees, the quality of the food. Pleasant staff, one of the oldest restaurants in town, would go back in a heartbeat.

Charming decor with a lot of choices. The chicken crepes were great for the kids, nice switch from all the chicken tenders they usually have. The variety has something for everyone. The presentation is very good. The prices are also reasonable. We are from Charleston, SC and a comparable meal there would be nearly double.

We came here with a large (14) group for a pre-wedding family dinner. We had reservations days in advance, so you would have thought they would be prepared for a large party. We had to move the reservation back an hour because there was a bad accident on the interstate which delayed arrival of half the family. When we got... More

We dined here during our vacation last month. This wasn't our original plan, however it was last minute on a Friday night and we went here because it was easy to get in and out of. We knew once we entered that it was a bit more upscale than what we thought, but opted to try it anyway. The lady... More

We have dined at this restaurant three times. The first time was over 10 years ago and the experience was poor. Second time was about three years ago and we saw great improvement. The third time was last night 6/6/2014. As we entered the restaurant, there was no one there to greet us. We wanted to sit at the bar... More

I REALLY do not get what the fuss is all about with this place. The whole place is dated and dusty. Service is mediocre at best. Ordered the crepe sampler and the were clearly microwaved, as the filling had gone all hard around the edges. The salad was the only decent part of the meal because I could choose how... More

Appears to be a locals destination in the downtown area. Service was adequate if a bit stand-offish. We stopped in for a quick lunch before leaving for the weekend. Server was slow to arrive to take our drink and food orders and seemed disappointed when we just ordered salads. Our salads were quite good with the exception of the Iceberg... More

Service was only average. I had to ask each of three times for three fill-ups of my water glass. Salad: unadorned Bibb lettuce--nothing else--and only, bizarrely, vinaigrette dressing; no other dressing available at all. I thought that was quite odd. Both my husband and I had the rack of lamb, which was wonderful. A soggy medley of overdone broccoli accompanied... More

Wonderful find in St. Augustine, the food, service and ambiance was perfect. They also are very sensitive to people with food allergies. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that is in the area. Chef Junior and his team have a winning way. We will be back to enjoy it again another day. Rosie was our warm and welcoming waitress.
