My daughter has Celiac Disease so we have to take a lot of precaution when ordering food for her. The servers were great with helping find MANY options of things that she could eat. Good food, drinks, and service. I would recommend getting the Sangria to drink.

I must have had a different experience then others. Went on a Friday night. They told us to sit anywhere, the only places available the tables were still dirty, but we sat down, thinking they would come by to clean them soon, well eventually they did and about 10 minutes later they came back to give us menus and even... La Herencia Cafe, 4 Aviles Street, St. Augustine, FL. is worth a trip to the Oldest City in the USA. If you like really good Cuban food this place is for you. I hadf the sliced pork dinner with black bean, rice and plantains. Chef Mark cooks with passion. Everything was seasoned well and very tasty. I had a glass... More

We stopped in this small restaurant for an early lunch and ordered breakfast. Hubby had a ham and cheese omelet and I had the black bean and feta omelet on Cuban toast along with the Cuban expresso. It was like comfort food. Nothing fancy but very good. Would go back.

We had a late lunch here. When we arrived the waitress gave us a menu and said she would be right back. At that moment a large group of young students came in with teachers/parents ordering coffees and drinks to go. The waitress completely forgot about us and started preparing and serving the drinks to the large group. I understand... More

Just stopped in for the first time for a perfect cafe con leche. Obviously a place where the owners are there and care. Wonderful service as well!

Stopped by this cafe by chance! What a great find! Sangria is one of the best & rivals Barcelona's any day. We tried the Cuban sandwich which were excellent. Cafe con leche was strong & wonderful. Well worth it!

While walking along Aviles Street , the oldest street in The United States, we came across a Cuban cafe called La Herencia. A small cafe seating less than 25 people serving authentic Cuban food along with beer and wine. We stopped for lunch and what a great decision that was. My wife and I, along with another couple , enjoyed... More
