Enjoyable Cuban Food

The day my wife and I ate here, they closed at 4PM. We had a late lunch. They have charming bistro type seating outside, but we chose air-conditioned inside. Fortunately the place was not busy, so we had time to chat with our server, Dylan. He was very accommodating, and informative. My wife... read more

Went twice. 1. Dinner had media noche and roasted potatos. Overall pretty good quality and service was adequate. 2. Breakfast a couple days later. Quality was OK but the roasted potatos seemed not to be particularly fresh. The biggest problem was that there was only one server for the entire place. He was so busy that he forgot my water... Spent the day in the old town and wanted some Cuban food. We walked in and were asked to sit anywhere. The waiter wasn't rude, but just seemed to want us out as fast as possible. We ordered the Cuban sandwich and ropa vieja. I'll just say I've had a better sandwich at Publix. The ropa vieja was bland. We... More

This place has changed hands many times and was at it's best a few years ago.The empanadas are still good but the accompanying cheese & chorizo dish was not very tasty and the bread was old toasted slices. The just average tasting white wine was served in small tumblers and not wine glasses. we remember coming here a few years... More

This restaurant is up the street and down an alley from A1A Brewery, my wife had the chicken cilantro wrap, and said it's the best one she's every had. I had the Cuban, it was good, but not the best I've ever had. The service was good and the decor looked fairly recent. Overall a good experience.

Stopped for a quick café con leche before taking a cruise on the Matanzas. Delicious and strong brew, made well by an adorable young barrista. Sis thought it was too strong-I loved mine though. Gave me just the energy push I needed!

Dad and I had a great lunch here for his birthday. They have a huge menu, and I really don't know a lot about Cuban food, and it all looked so good. Dad had the picadillo, a mixture of seasoned ground beef cook in a sofrito, served with plantains and black beans and rice. I had the ropa vieja, shredded... More

Quite frankly, I am shocked by the wonderful reviews of this restaurant. It was the least tasty Cuban good I've ever had. We ordered the picadillo and riopa vieja. Both came with plantains and black beans & rice. Everything came out extremely quickly, and was lukewarm, indicating that it had just been sitting around. I am just not a fan... More

Loved this little gem. We were able to sit outside right on the cobblestone street and people watch while we enjoyed café con leche, breakfast wrap & tostones. Great food & service!

Had a Cuban, rojo vieja and chicken wrap and they were all very good. Also had a tasty sangria and cafe con leche and enjoyed everything. Priced very well and good.
