My wife and I stopped at La Herencia Cafe for lunch during our visit to St Augustine and shared their Cuban Sandwich. It was the best I've ever had. Previously, the el Segundo Central Bakery in Ybor City was the best but La Herencia surpassed them. We also had two sides with the sandwich, a really great home made potato... More

Stopped in while wondering around town. Small but friendly. Not a quick get in, get out kind of place. Definitely a place to sit back, relax, and enjoy good conversation with family and friends. Many dishes were sampled in our group with not one complaint. I loved my dish of ropa vieja, black beans and rice, and plantains. Seating is... More

To say the food is fantastic is an understatement. The Cuban sandwich has fresh pork, flaky Cuban bread, thick cut pickles, its a fantastic Culmination of flavors. On a good note they see breakfast all day. I got the breakfast wrap with egg, peppers, bacon, and swiss cheese; wrapped in a warm tortilla. One of my pet peeves is when... More

great little, authentic, Cuban restaurant. Stopped there on a food tour and will be back for breakfast tomorrow. Great Cuban coffee and authentic Cuban sandwiches with roasted pork. Very friendly staff, great food and non toruisty prices. A must go to.

Nice ambience to be able to eat outside on the sidewalk. Had the pork dinner. Tender and good tasting. Also had the pulled pork dinner. That was very good. Service was great. Quanity was more than enough. Thought they should have included a basket of sliced cuban bread to go with their dinners.

With the numerous choices in this amazing Old Town, we are glad we found this restaurant. Friendly service, good food and of coarse great atmosphere. My wife had the hot pressed Cuban sandwich and she swears by it.

We were pleasantly greeted when we walked in and seated at a table right away. The service was very friendly and quick. My cuban sandwich was perfectly pressed and perfectly made, it was delicious! I love it when I go into a restaurant or shop or place of service and truly feel appreciated as a customer. La Herencia Cafe really... More

Great food and service. The best coffee and pastries in town! Plenty of outside tables and awesome service. The owner even came to check on our table. Wonderful little spot that was not overpriced.
