Good service, Great bread, Fresh Pulled Pork, Good Ham and all the fixings produced one of the better Cubans we ever had.

We love the breakfast! The Cubans for lunch! The con Leche! The cafe seating out on the sidewalk of the oldest street in US! This jewel is a must! And for us it has been a repeat and repeat! Excellent every time!

Fresh food! Pork could have used a little more marinade but it came with mojo dipping sauce so that made up for it! A must-visit if you visit downtown.

We had breakfast here one morning while in St. Augustine. Service was attentive and quick. We both had Café con Leche (very good!) I had a ham and cheese omelet and my husband had a dish (can't remember the name) that had a piece of Cuban bread topped with a flat omelet, black beans, pork and "other stuff". He said... More

Recently ate lunch with 2 kids here and had the best cuban ever and I eat a lot of cubans! We started with garbanzo soup and empanadas, which the kids ate all of so that tells you they were amazing. We also had the Frita and Elena Ruth which were both very good. The cuban was my favorite with the... More

We were very disappointed with the restaurant, since it was recommend by the hotel and some reviews here were so good. However our experience was not a great one. We ordered ropa vieja and another plate with steak, they tasted OK but clearly food was prepared long in advance and was reheated in the microwave. Our food was even cold.... More

I'm a regular that comes to St. Augustine on weekends. First time eating at La Herencia Café i had the Cuban Sandwich with Sweet Plantains. My daughter had the Picadillo with Rice and Black Beans it also had a great seasoning. I wish they had more Dinner Entries on their menu instead of Breakfast. Will come again.

The food was good but watch your credit card statement. Our bill was $33.92 but the charge on our cc statement was $37.92.

We came for lunch and left a bit disappointed. The empanadas were dry inside, with large chunks of pepper and onion rather than finely diced bits of spice, and they were screaming for raisins or extra garlic, something to sweeten and moisten the meat. They do serve breakfast all day which is nice, but the mimosas were anything but memorable.... More

While in St Augustine fortunately someone recommended La Herencia. Perfect breakfast sandwich with eggs and chorizo on Cuban toast. The cafe con leche was perfectly prepared and our server was great...friendly funny guy !!
