Nice atmosphere. Upstairs there is outside seating along the main road with a great view. The steaks are always cooked perfectly.

We drove up to meet up with friends who traveled down from Savanah, GA. Loud, happy environment in lower level bar area, with restaurant on 2nd floor. 45 minute wait at 8pm for outdoor dining where views are best, so we opted for indoors and experienced no views, but we were there to visit with friends we hadn't seen in... We sat inside but at a window table. Food good but St. Augustine restaurants seem to have a lot of New Orleans and Spanish influence. Not crazy about that kind of good so can't give an accurate review based on that. Place was clean and service was good.

We were seated with a view of the water. I eat here once, every time I come to St. Augustine (have been 5 times over the past several years). A1A always has a good menu, fresh food and good service. I've never been disappointed here.

Always love to go to A1a Works. Fun spot with good food and different micro brews. Staff is great. There is outdoor seating overlooking the water & historic district. Also good seating upstairs and downstairs.

perfect portions, reasonable prices. The sauces on even the desserts was heavenly! The Key Lime Cheesecake has me dreaming of returning. The Ahi Tuna Stack was perfection, I enjoyed it as an entree to save room for dessert! Great success.

I found this brewery online before my visit to St Augustine. As I have studied the art of brewing on my own and have attended Sielbel Institute for brewing, I always check out cities that I am going to visit to check on local brew pups. I visited A1A Ale Works a couple of times over the weekend and tried... More

We recently took our first trip to St Augustine. We got into town late and headed out for a bite to eat.Although it was busy,we were seated promptly at the Aleworks. Our waiter Ben greeted us with a smile and great suggestions from the menu and explained the craft beers on tap that night. We got appetizers while we decided on dinner, and they... There are two levels - Bar and Restaurant. Went to the restaurant for a later evening dinner on Labor Day Sunday and the stated wait was 1 hour. The vibe is slightly upscale but not overly so. We luckily got a seat at the bar and the bartenders were excellent and very attentive. A full bar and we ordered our... More
