Good bet for craft beer and solid food

This place is very well situated in downtown St. Augustine and has great views and comfortable atmosphere. We have been twice. The beer is, of course, their main attraction, but the food is also quite good, a significant notch above usual pub fare. We have only had seafood based dishes but they... read more

A frequent visitor to the area recommended this restaurant to us and I am so glad they did. The menu is not too large but has just enough variety to make it great. Had a marvelous mixed drink and a fresh outstanding salad with hot bacon dressing. The dressings were definitely made in house. Wonderful Kobe beef burger. HUGE. Not... More

Picked this place to taste their beers and have a lunch. Tried their beer sampler. Much to our delight they all were from good to very good. I wish could say the same about the food. It was mediocre. The service was also on the slow side. All in all, it averages to average experience.

This restaurant is located in the historic area, we ate outside in the upstairs area. Great view of the Lions bridge. The service was quick and friendly. The food was perfect!

Food quality was very poor and hot items were served cold! An $11. chicken salad had nothing more than a large handful of iceburg lettuce and offered none of the ingredients listed in the menu. BOTH of these problems were brought to the manager, but were never resolved; he and our waitress never returned to our table after we complained.... More

I had some time to kill and wandered into A1A Ale Works and I am thrilled that I did. The beers were amazing, I didn't get my bartenders name - but she pointed me in the right direction when it came to beer. She knew her stuff. I must have had at least 5 different brews and loved them all!

The food here is okay. The drinks are pretty good. The best part about this place is sitting on the balcony on the King Street side.

Love this place! The views are always great! You get to sit and overlook the bridge and St. Augustine. Tons going on, on this street corner! Great local beers and specials! I have never had a bad meal either! I also love their sister restaurant Seven Bridges, but is not nearly as cool of a venue! A must go to... More

A1A is a great place to hang out! The beers are very good and the food is great too! We only got appetizers but it was plenty. We got the nachos and hummus, both are delicious. Not sure if they offer flights of their beers. If they don't, they definitely should start!
