Very good service, excellent menu, close to all the shopping and tourist spots. Had the best grape leaves.

This was one of those places that as soon as you open the door you are greeted with a warm smile and sat immediately. The specials were given to us. The baklava was awesome.

We stumbled upon this little restaurant while visiting St. Augustine for the day. It is located in the heart of St Augustine, almost directly across from The Fort. We stopped in for breakfast, and let me tell you, we ATE! The portions were huge, and the food was delicious. Now I know you are saying, how can breakfast food be... More

We were really searching for breakfast. Breakfast is served here until 2pm- good to know if you really sleep in....the atmosphere was clean and quiet on the day we arrived - a cold wet day. The food was fresh and plentiful. The omelet was good with a bit too much feta- other than that no complaints. I'd like to go... More

We ate at Athena during a recent visit to St. Augustine and found it to still be our favorite and most reliable restaurant in the historic district. The food is wonderful, fresh and authentic and the staff is always attentive and polite. We have eaten here several times and have always been pleased whether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Had smoked salmon eggs benedict. Very flavorful. Service was good, would definitely dine here again.

Hummus was great, but on the salty side. The greek salad, albeit sounding simple and uninspired, was amazing!! Loved the crumbled feta and pepperoncini! The pita bread was good too, but do ask for it to be unbuttered - I did this and found it much more enjoyable than the buttered ones.

We had dinner last night at the Athena, and it was absolutely the best meal I have had in a long time. This is real Greek food! The hummus was perfect and the the lamb kabobs were cooked perfectly. I thought the food was priced fairly and the service was excellent. If you love Greek food, this is the place... More

Having eaten at the Athena over the years when attached to the Florida National Guard but gone for going on 5 years I stopped in for breakfast a week ago. Remodeling was very nice and inviting, open and light, but I came for the food. I was not disappointed nor was my friend. Cooked to perfection, coffee strong and delicious,... More

Wife had the lamb chop combo and it was excellent. I wasn't too hungry and just had a Gryo, which was also excellent. Good service, fair priced. The reason I gave it 4 stars was because they did not have any Hummus or the Greek Custard, (which were 2 of the 3 reasons I went). They have Wi-Fi so was... More
