We stopped here for lunch on Wed the 9th of July. They had a very good Caesar salad and it was a decent sized portion. A kids meal could have been split between two small childern quite easily. The Chicken and Lamb Gyros were half decent. Not the best I ever had but were prepared nicely and came hot. Our... More

Wish I could review what the food actually tasted like but we never received ours. Stopped by on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch. It wasn't overly busy, was seated promptly & drink/food orders taken. 40 minutes later, no food, the people who had arrived before us were still waiting as well. No explanation from our waitress, who actually tried to... More

We had kind of a tricky time finding a breakfast spot within walking distance of the Best Western Waterfront. We were quite pleased to find this spot by accident. The prices were very good for breakfast, but you might want to skip the $6 Mimosa. The service we had from the hostess and two ladies waitressing was perfect. We would... More

Second visit to Athena, while on the 3 hour savory food fair walking tour. The menu is plentiful and prices are very reasonable. Food was delicious. Will definitely return to Athena.

The food was good with fair pricing. The service was average not bad not great. But they added 20% gratuity to the bill for a "large" party. This is the only place I have been where 5 people is considered a large party.

A newly redecorated restaurant with a superlative wait staff served us an excellent Greek salad. Following that we enjoyed a baked moussaka and a very good chicken gyro. The Greek coffee that followed was strong and tasty as we shared a strawberry cheese cake.

We ate at this location by way of recommendation from someone who lived in St. Augustine. The restaurant was clean, the staff was very attentive, friendly and helpful as we were trying to figure out what main meal we wanted. Considering the location, the prices were reasonable. The appetizer, saganaki (flaming goat cheese), was quite an experience and very tasty...which... More

Couldn't wait to try the fresh hummus and home made pita's. It was all amazing. My husband had a club wrap. Delicious and fresh.

So in no particular order: ATHENA I am happy to see improvements at Athena, both in the physical restaurant, and the professional wait staff. I hadn’t put Aetna on my repeated-dining list, as the air conditioning, rest rooms, and ‘lightness’ in the main dining room needed improvement. Athena is now back on my list. The owner has been really working... More
