Want the best shrimp around? Go here. Also the oysters are to die for. They are huge and sooooo good!!!!! Usually have to wait in line. Neat antique shop right next door to browse thru while waiting for your table. A must eat location when visiting St. Augustine~~~~

Small building, but our family of nine fit comfortably. They are known for the fried shrimp. I heard they were good from everyone else who ordered them. I am anti-fried foods, so I got the shrimp salad. It was on lettuce, so no carbs! It was fresh and just right for me. The corn bread was ok, but others seemed... More

Have been coming to Osteen's for years when we travel to FL. from Maine for the winter. Maine boasts some pretty good seafood but Osteen's has it for there fried shrimp. Small, long waits, up to 2 hours in past but worth every minute. Cash, no alcohol, quick service and table turn over. Come for the food, not a leisurely... More

We first ate here about 4 years ago, and it has been a must place for us ever since. I love the Minorcan Clam Chowder. I usually order a cup, as I want room for the other things I order. Finally ordered the Fried Scallops instead of the Shrimp. It will really be a fight the next visit, as they... More

What's wrong with fried food? The answer is NOTHING! This place had great food! The fried shrimp, hush puppies and the Minorcan chowder was the best. I loved this place, even down to the datil pepper sauce on the tables.

The fried shrimp was some of the best I have had. The people who work there are pleasant. Good price for the amount of food.

Osteen's will get me off I-95 anytime I pass by to have their fried shrimp. I'd love to try other things, but I'd can't get here often enough. Their home made hot sauce is tops too. The casual setting is Cash only and the seating is limited, but there is a window for take out. The staff is always friendly... More

I have been coming here since I was a little girl but moved away years later, but my family and I travel back very frequently and always come to O'Steen's. The food is amazing but seating is limited and they are always very busy so be prepared to wait, but the wait is well worth it!

We are 'foodies' and especially love seafood. But it has to be fresh and cooked right or you waste a bunch of money on a bad meal. O'Steens does it right. The fried shrimp and broiled flounder were top notch. The hush puppies might be the best ever and the service from our 11 year veteran waitress was perfect. Highly... More
