Description: Family-owned and operated for over 110 years, Columbia has earned acclaim...
Family-owned and operated for over 110 years, Columbia has earned acclaim for its old-world charm and award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine and wine list. Join us for century-old family recipes like Paella "a la Valenciana," Filet Mignon "Columbia," and fresh seafood specialties. Don't miss Columbia's Original "1905" Salad(R), prepared tableside with our delicious, freshly-made dressing, a 110-year-old family recipe of fresh garlic, oregano, wine vinegar and Spanish extra virgin olive oil. Be sure to sample a fine Spanish wine like Torres, Montecillo or Campillo. Relax in our courtyard or Mediterranean-style dining rooms, filled with hundreds of hand-painted tiles and Spanish-style fountains. We are a sister to the Columbia in Tampa's Ybor City, founded in 1905. Children's menu available. Open 365-days a year, including all holidays.

Just Terrific!

After several tour guides recommended this stop, we planned it for our noon meal. Good signs were it was busy, well decorated and clean. Our server was very professional and we enjoyed watching him prepare the pitcher of Sangria and the dressing for my 1905 salad. Our Fritura de Bacalo arrived late... read more

Loved the white sangria and the tapas we had. Do not get white asparagus salad very often. Very southern style look oldest city in the United States. Loved the atmosphere and the staff were excellent. I would go back in a minute~

We eat at the Tampa version of this restaurant occasionally. Always good. While it seems an odd choice in the touristy section of town, we love the Columbia, so went here for lunch. Neither the food nor the atmosphere disappointed. The world famous 1905 Salad was as good as always. Drinks were fresh, tasty, and unique. And the entrees were... More

This is one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at! It does not matter what you order, everything is EXCELLENT! The service is awesome as is the food. I have dined at this particular Columbia restaurant multiple times and I have always had a very high level of service and food. I have never been disappointed. The 1905... More

Awesome restaurant. The oldest in St. Augustine. Good food but a little on the high side. Atmosphere was nice and the wait staff very friendly.

We always tend to leave coming to the Columbia until the last night of our stay in St Augustine - a combination of treat and ritual. Unfortunately, the experience is losing it's appeal - not entirely the fault of The Columbia but more the way in which society is changing. We always dress a little more smarter for The Columbia but... I have dined at the original Ybor City location for years and the St. Ausgustine site recreates the excellence in food and atmosphere particularly at the cozy bar on the second floor. Do not forget the flan, It doesn't have an equal.

Atmosphere, wait staff, and of course the food were all top notch. Don't miss the 1905 salad and the sangria. Everything on the menu sounded terrific. Even being a vegetarian, there were plenty of tasty choices. Don't miss this restaurant.

Enjoyed the atmosphere. Bread was great. Food was above average. Waitress was not in a good mood that day - and it showed in her service and tip.
