Description: Family-owned and operated for over 100 years, Columbia has earned acclaim...
Family-owned and operated for over 100 years, Columbia has earned acclaim for its old-world charm and award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine and wine list. Join us for century-old family recipes like Paella "a la Valenciana," Filet Mignon "Columbia," and fresh seafood specialties. Don’t miss Columbia’s Original “1905” Salad®, prepared tableside with our delicious, freshly-made dressing, a 100-year-old family recipe of fresh garlic, oregano, wine vinegar and Spanish extra virgin olive oil. Be sure to sample a fine Spanish wine like Torres, Montecillo or Campillo. Relax in our courtyard or Mediterranean-style dining rooms, filled with hundreds of hand-painted tiles and Spanish-style fountains. We are a sister to the Columbia in Tampa's Ybor City, founded in 1905. Children's menu available. Open 365-days a year, including all holidays.

It's a favorite!!!

One of my favorite restaurants to eat at in St Augustine! Definitely one of the best places for good Spanish food and it's worth every penny. One of my favorites is the palomilla steak and the Ropa Vieja and the sangria is a must. From the service and Tapas right down to the dessert and coffee... read more

Every year that my husband and I vacation in St. Augustine, we love to eat here. To start with, it is beautiful inside and has the atmosphere of a Spanish coutyard. Then of course is the excellent food. We always try something different here an it's always something new to us. We have not been disappointed yet. The food is... More

We enjoyed the leisurely lunch of delicious Cuban black bean soup and "made at your table" house specialty salad. The restaurant is located in the heart of Old St. Augustine and within walking distance of many of the local sights. There are several dining rooms, each with beautiful tile work and distinctive Spanish art. The service was somewhat slow, but... More

The venue is gorgeous and the service was good but I was disappointed by the quality of food. Very salty and covered in sauces. Would not go back. Ate at a little diner later and the quality of food was much better and fresher.

Had to wait twenty minutes for a table. Then got a new waiter who mixed up our drink order, didn't bring the hot Cuban bread for another 15 minutes and forgot to ask what side I wanted from a choice of three so brought rice. A busy touristy place with lovely Spanish decor and tile pictures on the walls. Food... More

Food is delicious. Service was inattentive - my water was never refilled. The worse part of the dinner, however, was the wait between our appetizer and our entree! We waited over a half an hour which is much to long. The waiter apologized but that was it. It's too bad because the food was good and the atmosphere really nice

Have been to Columbia many times, both in St Augustine and in Ybor City. We were celebrating our daughter's Birthday along with our grandson, and she chose Columbia as the place to go. Our waiter was very attentive and made excellent suggestions on the menu. Our selections were prepared in a timely manner and were just as we had ordered.... More

We had a midday dinner on a Monday and the restaurant was full on the ground floor. With sky lights large windows, balconies and nice tile, this is a good looking restaurant. Since we loved a grouper dinner at their St Petersburg restaurant, we decided to try it here, just cooked differently. The bread was very good; some wine were... More

We ordered just Tapas for dinner which included 1. Albondigas - Meat balls covered with a red sauce. The meatballs were bland and way over cooked. 2. Croquetas de Langosta - Lobster cakes. These were very good. 3. Croquetas de Pollo - Fried chicken like Croquets. These were tasteless and dry. In much need of some kind of dipping sauce... More

We make it a point to eat here every time we visit St. Augustine. I recommend making reservations. We were 6 adults. We've sat downstairs and on the second floor. Each level offers ambiance. We immediately ordered two pitchers of Sangria. Each pitcher serves 4 peopke comfortably. Be sure to get the Sangria with the shot of Brandy in it.... More
