Worth the find!

Salt Water Cowboy's was recommended to us as a good place to eat locally. It is at the end of a street kind of off the beaten path, but well worth finding. Our food was delicious and plentiful. We had the coconut shrimp and the stuffed shrimp -- both were great -- and servings were very good... read more

I remember eating at Saltwater Cowboys when I was a teenager, so 30 years later I was excited to take my family there for dinner. The service from our waitress was good, but that's about it. My son ordered crab legs, but was later told they were out of them. I ordered the crab cakes which were some of the... More

I got the shrimp scampi pasta. It was missing the scampi..the shrimp was tender and very good. The fettucini noodles were rubbery and plain. I thought there was supposed to be a wine sauce as described, but I couldn't find it. I was disappointed, because it was shown as a favorite dish. My husband really enjoyed his blackened seafood platter.... More

All of the staff there are very friendly and the food was delicious!!! We were the last customers of the night and no one rushed or hurried us out. Also, as we were driving off, my 9 year old daughter noticed that she had lost her bracelet (a hand made friendship bracelet). I called the restaurant and asked them if... More

It's not a prime location, with fancy decor, and elegance... What it is: an old farm house, in a neighborhood that has hand made chairs. The serve your sweet tea in a mason jar! It's as close as you get to the holidays at Grandma's, right down to the portions! That may have been the best catfish, I ever had!... More

First time there, it was my husbands 65th birthday and we wanted to have just a nice dinner! Everything from the staff to food was excellent! We had stuffed shrimp, shrimp and grits, hush puppies, coleslaw. Two thumbs up for the whole experience - would recommend to anyone and look forward to returning!!!

This appears to be 'the' place to be in St. Augustine. Located out on the edge of a picturesque marsh, they crank folks in hungry and out happy. There's usually a line, but you can wait out on the porch with a nice beverage and enjoy the view until you hear your name. I had the grilled mahi and cheese... More

Salt Water Cowboys was recommended to us by folks back home. They told us you had to sort of look for it but would be worth it. THEY WERE RIGHT. One of our better restaurant stops while vacationing.

This restaurant has been a favorite of ours for years. It is not exactly "around the corner" from us but the travel (50 minutes) is worth it. Great menu -- fried shrimp done in the St. Augustine style --- and wait staff always fast and accommodating. Recommend a call ahead for a spot on the preferred seating list. It is... More
