This had been recommended to us as a good Irish Pub. The greeting was good as one of the staff noticed my Boston Red Sox hat and told me I had found a Boston Irish bar in St. Augustine. We were seated promptly but then things slowed down as a larger party in the outside seating seem to take priority.... More

We were just full of Beach Fare. I needed something else. Research found this spot. The food was fantastic. I have never been across the pond so I can not vouch for the authenticity, but if it is I would swim across the pond for more. Thankfully I can visit the Barley Republic here in St. Augustine. Great atmosphere and service.... More

Highly suggest the Bangers Starter, Fish and Chips and Potato soup. We would have given 5 stars but our server forgot about us and our requests multiple times.

A cozy little pub to visit with friends and family. Music and food are great. A good selection of beers, traditional Irish dishes, and burgers also. Service was friendly and prompt. Loved it!

We were walking/touring St Augustine - we are from JAX - and found this little gem. Great burgers, fantastic fries, and a good selection of brews on tap. And the cherry on top was all of the Boston decor - that's where I grew up! Will be back :)

The wife and I have been to St. Augustine many times and decided to try something different. We picked up a guide map and decided on Barley Republic. Cristi was a awesome host and very helpful and knowledgeable regarding the tap beers and ciders. The only downside was we went there for the "raw bar" that they advertise and were... More

I abslutely love this little place on the back street of St. Augustine. LIve about 30 miles away and we come several times a month. Have a nice porch area out front and live music many times. In cold weather had nice gas heaters. Actually ate here Christmas Eve with great musicians outside. The hamburgers are excellent along with the... More

Loved this place! I ordered the fries and chicken strips, and both were very good! I'm not usually a fan of blue cheese, but theirs is very good! The waitress was very friendly and attentive, and most of the staff, it seemed, were Irish! It made the experience all the more enjoyable! The band playing in the tent next door... More
