Upon entering on a late Sunday night we noticed the crowd and bar tender seemed fairly rough. I ordered a regular dry Martini and it came back tasting like a strawberry daiquiri. I told the waitress and she cheerfully said she would tell the bartender. I mentioned it may have been possible he didn't clean out the shaker after the... More

Really nice quaint place. Waitress was super nice. Had the fish and chips. A little greasy but good. Husband had the wings. Said they were good. Not the best, not the worst. "Squarely in the middle". If you like drunk people around you or are into beer this is the place to go!

Good place, cozy. Menu has moderate selection. A few items are pretty much staples so many should be able to find something. I had the half chicken and some 'fried bangers'. Chicken was perfect. Great flavor and very moist. Fried bangers were served like a corn dog. Nothing wrong with that. Sausage meat wasn't very flavorful. Pretty bland. Service was... More

Went in to get take out for my family. Sat at the bar with my daughter and had a nice conversation with Joe the bartender. Nice friendly atmosphere!

We stopped in for lunch The food was very good and there was plenty of it. They have a very nice selection of beer and mixed drinks, Their sandwiches come with home made chips. They were hot out of the fryer and not greasy .

My immediate and extended family ate here in late March. Barley Republic is on Spanish Street, right in the middle of historic St. Augustine. It is a very quaint-looking pub. The restaurant is very small both inside and out, so if you are with a large party (we had a party of 10) you will have trouble finding seats. We... More

Perfect location and atmosphere. Sat on the deck a couple of nights lately. Food is always perfect and my Guinness fresh. One of the places in town that serves food pretty late, and carries a nice assortment of Irish whiskey and other liquids to complement my selections. Thursday nights might be my favorite for the beer specials and live Irish... More

Small place with outdoor seating as well. We sat at a cozy table for 5. We had the Angus burger and it was a treat with the fries. My husband had the oysters as an app and he said he really enjoyed them. Good portions size for kids and it is off the Main Street so it was easier to... More
