Nice local place, good food, good service.

You could tell that this was a place frequented by locals. First names were used by servers and bartenders with many of the customers. We ate here with our 2 kids and the adult and kids menu items were all good. Fish and chips were fresh and crispy and the chicken curry was very good. Excellent... read more

Doug was a great waiter! Had banger appy and arugula salad - delicious. The grilled romaine with chicken was a big hit too! Will go back soon!

On our first night in St Augustine we walked into Old Town for something small to eat. While my wife had seen Barley Republic listed in TripAdvisor, we decided to compare their menu with a couple of other small restaurants in the area. Most of the ones that we looked at had limited selections but Barley Republic had a large... More

This is an Irish Pub and Oyster House which is open as late as 2am, although we did not stay here that late. We visited whilst walking in the Historic District when it was not too busy. Besides Guinness, which had to be my first drink, they also have a large and inviting bottled beer selection including a number of... More

Try to visit this place every time we are walking around the old city. Great to stop for a pint and the music (especially on Thursday night )is fun.

Have been here 3 times now. The food has been excellent every time. Try the wings. Great beers on tap as well. Staff is friendly. The place can get busy, so be prepared to wait a little for the staff. A fun place on St. Patty's Day.

We were in St. Augustine for Spring Break week and ended up in this bar 2 times that week. We sat at the bar and had a great time with our bartender Rika. She was awesome and made us feel really welcome. Just wish we lived closer to go back to this place more often!

The burgers were juicy and very tasty. I had the regular burger and my husband had the Veggie burger. Both burgers were better than expected.

The pub is very authentic, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Sitting at the bar lends itself to great conversations with others who are visiting lovely St. Augustine. Food and drinks are excellent. The staff are very attentive. This should be a stop during your travels here.

We were at the opening of the Barley Republic and I must say they have matured nicely. They serve pitchers of beer and cider as well as having a full liquor bar now. It is a fun spot to hang out or have a meal. I had the Shepard's pie with lamb. Very very tasty, though I was the portion... More
